In Dream Academy’s social media reveal of the finalists, Sophia, or Sophie/Fifi/Sopheezy, describes herself as “hysterical, caring, and diligent.” She is the daughter of actress and singer Carla Guevara Laforteza and Chef Godfrey Laforteza, who, like her, is a proud ARMY.

GOING GLOBAL

John Janick, chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M, says of the contestants, “Each candidate is incredibly talented, dedicated, and driven, making this an exciting moment for music fans worldwide.” To introduce the finalists and their talents, HYBE and Geffen released an art film on YouTube, and we can already tell it’s going to be a tough competition.

Dream Academy was born out of HYBE chairman Bang Si-Hyuk’s desire to form an international group based on “K-Pop methodology.” Upon collaborating with Janick, they got started on developing the concept and process for forming the next diverse, world-class music group, which led to where we are today.

Once the final lineup and the name of the new group is revealed on November 17, Billboard reports, the group will undergo further training and development, a process that will be documented for a Netflix docuseries to be released in 2024. Meanwhile, The Debut: Dream Academy will see these 20 trainees showcase their skills and talents through challenges and performances to earn evaluators’ praise, the public’s votes, and a spot on the group.

If you want to support Sophia as well as your other faves, you can join The Debut: Dream Academy Weverse community or vote on Tiktok. Voting starts September 1st. Stay updated on their website and socials (@dreamacademyhq on X and Instagram) to see how far Sophia goes and how the next big global girl group will be formed!

Meet The Talented Performers For The Return Of Linya-Linya Land 2023

line
See you there.

If you’re looking for another reason to purchase those tickets, we’re introducing the most sought-after artists from the local scene who will be performing at Linya-Linya Land 2023.

The stage is set for the much-awaited return of Linya-Linya Land. On Saturday, they’re taking puns to a celebration of music and culture with a larger lineup. While Linya-Linya Land has been rocking with their sick lineup of artists, this year is seriously breaking the record. Ready for the scoop? This time around, they’re bringing out the biggest names in art and stand-up comedy as well. As the countdown begins, it’s time to introduce the talented performers who will be gracing the stage at Linya-Linya Land 2023.

Autotelic

Back in the early 2010s, when Filipino pop-rock bands were blowing up the scene, Autotelic stepped up as a total front-runner in the local landscape. Fast forward to 2023, Autotelic’s music still hits home. I mean, I’m still singing along to Takipsilim, Laguyin, and Laro after all those gigs I’ve been to in college.

Cheats

After Hakbang, Kapit, and Accidents, who isn’t a fan of Cheats? What started as a collective of couch potatoes, their music is now making people dance all night—then cry on the ride home.

Ebe Dancel

With critically acclaimed albums, sold-out concerts, and chart-topping tracks in his pocket, Ebe Dancel is one of the top names in OPM. ICYDK, he is the voice behind Burnout, Mariposa, and Prom. I remember crying on the walk home from UP Fair because of Ebe Dancel. Yes, his music will trigger those feels. That said, my heart isn’t ready for Saturday.

Johnoy Danao

Johnoy Danao – with the acoustic guitar and vocals that alternately soar and sigh – is mostly known for the type of music you would play on a Sunday afternoon with the love of your life. Yes, I’m all about Ikaw at Ako. I’m crossing my fingers that this song, along with Buntong Hiniga, is part of his setlist.

Nica del Rosario

As a Kakampink, I’m looking forward to hearing the powerful voice behind Rosas. While songwriter Nica del Rosario’s collaboration with Leni Robredo’s 2022 presidential campaign propelled her into singing stardom, she was already an icon in the industry with her stable of hits she’s written for other artists, such as Sarah Geronimo’s Tala. Will she perform that too? I mean, she should.

Comedy and Art

Saturday’s lineup is lit with not just a bunch of side-splitting standup comedians like Victor Anastacio, Nonong Ballinan, GB Labrador, and James Caraan, but also bringing the heat are the big shots in the Philippine art scene – Manix Abrera, Rob Cham, and Pol Medina. At this point, Linya-Linya Land has everything covered. So mark your calendars, set your alarms, and prepare yourself for an amazing Saturday with Linya-Linya.

Tickets are available online at PHP 900 for Early Bird Regular (raffle stub and general admission) and PHP 1,700 for Early Bird VIP (general admission, raffle stub, swag bag, and limited-edition poster). Yes, walk-ins are welcome. See you there?

SHE’S THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

Clips from Somi’s album release party got the internet joking about how K-Pop idols don’t know how to party, but clearly, she does. Somi’s always been fun and cheerful, charming and funny, and it makes sense that she would bring people together for a night of fun and celebration that got stans abuzz.

SHE LAUNCHED HER OWN TALK SHOW

Somi’s using all that charm and humor as she takes on a new role as the host of new online talk show Yes or Hot on YouTube channel TEO. In the very first episode, “Hot Girl Jeon Somi” talks to her friend, soloist, ad one of the OG baddies HyunA and they take turns asking each other spicy questions and talking about everything from the industry to their dating lives. Somi’s own version of viral YouTube series Hot Ones, the show is promising in its concept and hilarious to watch. We can’t wait to see the rest of her guest stars.

Miley And Selena Are Taking Back Their Crowns With New Music—And The Internet Is Nostalgic

line
HANNAH VS. MIKAYLA 2.0.

Old friends and former Disney icons Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez are coming back with new singles this August 25!

Related: 7 Times Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift Were Ride-or-Die BFFs

Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez have been staples of pop culture for almost two decades now. From screens to studios, the two have been consistently booked and busy, making headlines with every move they make.

So when the world found out they were announcing (and would be releasing) singles on the same day, people were yanked straight back into the 2010s when these former Disney stars were the definition of It Girls for the younger generation. On August 25, Miley will be dropping Used to Be Young, and Selena will be dropping Single Soon ahead of her yet-to-be-completed album.

HANNAH VS. MIKAYLA, MILEY VS. SELENA?

News of a same-day single drop from the two got people reminiscing. Referencing a Hannah Montana season 2 episode where Selena Gomez guest starred as rival pop star Mikayla, @mazzypopstar on X (formerly Twitter) posted a clip of the two characters’ iconic verbal spar while on a fictional call-in talk show.

Miley and Selena, as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in Hannah Montana and Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place, respectively, were Disney darlings and breakout superstars in their own right. They’ve been friends since the late aughts, and—as is unfortunately normal in celebrity culture—have also been rumored to be rivals like their Hannah Montana characters. This was driven by the fact that we apparently can’t let two young women share the spotlight side-by-side (even today, ahem) and by the Miley-Selena-Nick Jonas love triangle.

Photo from Getty Images

Even these days, as the news about their new music comes out and people on the internet are digging up remnants of the past, people are still speculating about their rumored feud. Regardless of what went down over the years, the two have shown their respect and love for one another all throughout their careers.

Just in the last few years alone, they’ve crossed paths and reached out to each other online, calling each other “old friends.” Selena even guested on Miley’s Instagram Live show to talk about mental health and living with bipolar disorder.

POP MUSIC’S BARBENHEIMER

The same-day release caused people to refer to the Barbie/Oppenheimer phenomenon, calling this “pop music’s barbenheimer.” And just to make things extra spicy, Ariana Grande is also releasing music on the 25th, albeit the digital deluxe release of Yours Truly in honor of its 10th anniversary. Pop music is going to be wild this Friday.

And playing on the hype, Miley and Selena also utilized X and Instagram to ride the wave of nostalgia and joint social media virality. Miley took to X to respond and partake in the trending viral memes about her and Selena. She quoted the clip of the telephone feud, captioning it “.@selenagomez and I are both dropping our new SINGLEs SOON…..I SAY WE #USEDTOBEYOUNG .”

She also posted a clip from her upcoming documentary special Endless Summer Vacation: Continued (Backyard Sessions) where she imitates the viral meme of Miley Stewart saying goodbye to the Malibu home in the Hannah Montana season 3 finale.

Selena also took to Instagram Stories, posting the same telephone feud clip. “@Mileycyrus and I both have a SINGLE SOON and we are releasing on the same day…We have been friends since we USED TO BE YOUNG. Excited for August 25!!!”

SELENA AND MILEY TODAY

Selena Gomez, thriving as a musician, producer, actress, and beauty entrepreneur, last released an album in 2021—a Spanish-language EP titled Revelaćion and has lent her vocals to features in songs by Rema and DJ Snake. Her recent screen stint as producer and lead actress on the mystery-comedy Only Murders in the Building (currently airing its third season on Hulu) earned her critical and audience acclaim, and her cosmetics brand Rare Beauty is well-loved across the world over.

Miley Cyrus has continuously revamped and reinvigorated her versatile career through strong, authentic music with her latest release Endless Summer Vacation (2023) and its successful lead single Flowers. As acclaim for her stellar rock vocals grows, so does a more widespread recognition of her talent and ability beyond Hannah Montana and Wrecking Ball. Nostalgia and legacy are taking center stage in the current wave of pop culture, and since Miley has been an integral part of youth and pop culture from the late 2000s to the present, people think she could definitely pull off an “Eras tour” of her own.

If you grew up with these two on your screen, then you know it’s a special, nostalgic feeling to watch them interact and take on the world with no signs of stopping for years on end, despite all the wild media coverage they’ve faced. So mark your calendars: Miley and Selena are coming back with new music on August 25th to prove that they’re generational pop culture icons—and they’re going nowhere but up.

Ylona Garcia Is Having A Great Year So Far

line
She's all that and more.

Armed with a love for people and music, the young singer-songwriter is on track to living her best life.

Related: 7 of Ylona Garcia’s Best Songs That You Need to Add to Your Playlist ASAP

Ylona Garcia’s career has always been on an upward trajectory. At 21, the Filipino-Australian artist has made waves not just in the Philippines, but internationally. As a member of American record label 88rising, managed by Paradise Rising, she’s released several hits over the last couple of years like All That, Don’t Go Changing, Entertain Me, and Vibin.

This year, she’s achieved several milestones for her career, spent time with good people, and started working on new music. Hear all about her wins in 2023 below!

A CHANCE TO REPRESENT

Ylona’s recent win let her start August off with a bang. In honor of Filipino Heritage Night on August 2 US time, she performed the Philippine national anthem Lupang Hinirang in front of a crowd of thousands seated for a baseball game at the Dodgers Stadium. With a strong voice, wearing a baseball jersey in the colors of the Philippine flag, Ylona definitely made Filipinos everywhere proud.

#fyp #dodgers #pinoypride ♬ original sound – ylonagarcia

Filipino Heritage Night is a special event done during sports events to honor and celebrate Filipinos and their culture, and Ylona was ecstatic, grateful, and admittedly a little nervous for the opportunity to represent herself and her country.

Medyo kabado ako nung una na kantahin ito, dahil hindi ito ang sarili kong kanta. pero kahit na ganumpaman, ito ang kanta na nag-rerepresenta sa aking sarili at sa aking bansa,” she wrote in her caption for Instagram and TikTok. “Sana ay proud kayo, Pilipinas !!”

FESTIVAL FUN

In February, Wanderland Festival announced Ylona as part of their March lineup, joining artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Rico Blanco, and No Rome. Aptly titled Wanderland: The Comeback, the festival marked Ylona’s return to the Philippine stage after four years.

“it’s been almost 4 years since the last time i performed back home,” she posted. Ylona was scheduled to perform a set on 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Manila festival in December 22, which was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather. Thankfully, she was able to take the stage at Wanderland this 2023. After the festival, Ylona took to Instagram to admit that she was nervous about the performance, as well as express her love for what she does: “This moment is why I keep doing what I do.”

MAKING CONNECTIONS

Ylona is known to be very humble and down-to-earth. In a press event and reported by Vice, she mentioned that one of her goals in 2022 was to buy a house for her family. When she went back to Australia early on in the pandemic, she went back to studying and even took a job at McDonalds! Described as “a literal embodiment of an extrovert,” she loves making connections with people—like her fans.

This year, she got the opportunity to meet members of the Organization of Young Filipino Americans at thee University of Virginia. She performed for and with them, hosted a kamayan with her team, and had meaningful conversations as she bonded with the students over their shared culture and heritage.

STUDIO SESSIONS

Everyone’s been patiently clamoring for new music from the artist for quite a while now—and based on Ylona’s several studio sessions teasing a new album, it’s definitely coming! This year, after a “much-needed break,” Ylona came back to the studio refreshed and recharged. Fans saw an influx of photos and videos of the singer-songwriter in recording sessions, merely a taste of what’s to come.

Mentions of “the album” excited fans on social media, and with every studio session clip, we are reminded of her versatility as a Pop/R&B artist, her gorgeous vocals, and love for music.

Throughout her career, Ylona has remained grounded, humble, and proud of her identity. She’s based in Los Angeles now, working on her music, taking her friends to Lakers games, and living her best life as a young artist blazing a trail to success. And we simply can’t wait for what’s next.

5 Heartwarming Moments from Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

line
The crowds in stands went wild.

Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour continues to be a beaded and bedazzled celebration of music, love, and kindness.

Related: This Pinoy TikToker Had a Bejeweled Moment with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift may not have announced a Philippine stop of her renowned The Eras Tour, but we can still enjoy the performances, surprise songs, and high-octane energy of the crowds on our own. In particular, thanks to the power of social media, several things that have happened throughout the tour got us swooning and tearing up in real time, and not to mention wishing we were there, too. Scroll down for some moments that lives rent-free in our hearts.

THE “LOVE STORY” PROPOSALS

Taylor’s team could probably make an entire music video out of all the proposals done during Love Story, a song she’s performed for years. The song’s bridge sets the stage for an unforgettable moment between couples, such as the pair in @lexisroseblog’s Instagram reel. The sunset, along with the crowd singing along with Taylor herself in a sort-of serenade, painted the perfect picture for the start of their bright future.

TAYLOR GIVING AWAY THE “22” HAT

During each performance of 22, Taylor picks out an audience member to come right up to the stage. She sings to them, greets them, and gives them the black hat she wears for that portion of the show. During her August 3 performance in Los Angeles, Taylor gave her hat to 6-year-old Bianka Bryant, daughter of late basketball player Kobe Bryant. Other lucky Swifties who have gotten the 22 hat include Bejeweled dance creator Mikael Arellano.

EVERY “LONG LIVE” PERFORMANCE

Long Live is an extra-special song for Swifties as it chronicles her journey with all the people that have loved and supported her throughout her extensive career. The track was not originally part of the setlist, actually, but she added it upon the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) to fans’ utmost delight. The singer-songwriter has since shared emotionally-charged moments with the audience as they belted lines such as “Long live the walls we crashed through / I had the time of my life with you”.

@hillairexdawn taylor really did that 💜 such a surreal moment as someone who grew up with her music. CROWDS OUTSIDE THE ARENAS SINGING ALONG

The parties are not just happening inside the arenas of the Eras Tour. Outside the stadiums, crowds of people often gather to experience the show from a distance. From picnics to mosh pits, celebrations extend beyond closed doors and reserved seating, proving that music truly has a magical way of bringing people together.

@faithr1v swifties unite🥰 #erastour #taylorswift #philly #night3 ♬ Bejeweled – Taylor Swift

THE MAKING AND GIVING OF FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS

A lyric from Midnights track You’re On Your Own Kid gave life to a now-widely practiced tradition at every stop of the Eras Tour and even beyond. “So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it” became an invitation for concert-goers to make their own friendship bracelets and give them away or trade them with others. Even stars like Lupita Nyong’o, Channing Tatum, and Jennifer Garner joined the festivities! The celebs adorned their arms with colorful beads as they savored the atmosphere of Taylor’s Eras Tour.

@gabydeimeke this was such a fun part of the #erastour 🥹 thank you everyone who traded with me, it made the show such a blast!!!! #arlingtontstheerastour #bracelettrading #makethefriendshipbracelets #swifttok #taylorswift ♬ youre on your own kid – emily ☆

Clearly, the show itself is not the only thing to celebrate and look forward to. Concerts have become a place for self-expression, community, newfound friendships, and pure joy. So if you’re slated to attend one soon, Eras Tour or otherwise, make the most of it.

Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50B Review: The Music Listening Experience Your Parents Never Had

line
It's not just about being loud—it's about having the right kind of sound.

Standing tall with striking LED lights, you can recreate what a dance party is like through a speaker that can make you groove to every beat and enjoy every moment.

“I don’t want to hear the words/ I just want the sound, sound, sound, sound,” were lyrics that popstar and sword-wielding queen Carly Rae Jepsen once said through her song, The Sound, from her Dedicated album. While the overall message of the song was heart-rending, a music lover like me resonates with beats and harmony the most.

Beyond hanging out with friends on a Friday night with cocktails in tow, I know it’s going to be a good night when the thrill of barhopping, surrounding myself with pulsing bass, the rhythm moving my hips and my heart racing, especially in anticipation of what the DJ will play.

When I heard that I’ll be reviewing the Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50B and learned about its features, I knew I should put this lofty Bluetooth speaker to the test and recreate this feeling in the comfort of my room.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I own a Bluetooth speaker myself. It’s compact and it’s enough to move around with me at home. The Samsung Sound Tower is a different story. Its tall and triangular exterior can be overwhelming at first glance, almost toddler-like in height. It can take up space, which means you’ll need to make sure you have the room to accommodate the towering speaker.

Once I got past its bulky feature though, I went straight into exploring. The play buttons on top help you navigate and control your sound experience. It even has a bass button option to amp up the beats of each song, especially for hip hop and rock songs with deep-toned harmonies.

Behind the sound system are where the Bluetooth, stereo, group play buttons, and USB ports are placed. I also found out that with the stereo and group play options, I can attach aux cords and connect it with extra speakers. It also has microphone attachments and volume and echo dials if you want to use it for karaoke night. This Samsung music player has built-in woofers below where the LED lights are placed.

There’s also an option to go wireless for up to 18 hours of playing time.

PLAYING BY EAR

When I first started using the Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50B, I immediately noticed how much bass there was without being overwhelming. It’s just enough so that you can feel it in your bones without grating your ears. It didn’t feel like the woofers were getting in the way of vocals and other harmonies either.

When you listen to a podcast, you can hear the varying modulations of the hosts’ spiels. And with my music mix, I could hear crisp highs and deep lows. I placed the Sound Tower in various points of my room and house as the tonality I play with each song reverberates with the Bluetooth player’s bi-directional speakers, where you can push the audio to two directions giving a more intense, room-filling sound.

NO WHITE NOISE

If we’re talking about how loud this Samsung device is, I was impressed by how far sound can travel with it. A friend came to visit me one weekend and he shared that he heard music coming out of our house. It excited me even more as I had more friends coming over with the prospect of playing Melanie Martinez’s album and live music from our favorite artists.

As expected, the live music we pulled from YouTube made us feel like we’re in an actual concert. It’s unlike any I’ve experienced from the more compact Bluetooth speakers I’ve had.

To mix things up, I connected the Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50B with the Sound Tower app and became the night’s DJ. To feel like we’re in the clubs we frequent, we made use of the LED lights by controlling it from the app. We chose from the ambient, party, star, and dance options.

Aside from its music-geared features, it’s also IPX5 water-proof rated. This means you can take the stereo for wireless playing outdoors and it won’t disrupt your listening even with dust and splashes in the area.

The Samsung Sound Tower may be massive in size, but it can also be mobile with its ability to play music whenever and wherever you want, making every place you go to a dance floor.

Order the Samsung Sound Tower here. Follow Samsung Philippines on Instagram.

I Went To The Maroon 5 Concert And It Healed My Inner Child

line
And the memories bring back, memories bring back you.

On the Philippine leg of their 2022 World Tour, Maroon 5 celebrates their 20th anniversary with a night of music and nostalgia.

There’s just something about music of your youth that takes you on a journey back in time. Whether it’s about a certain situation or a person, I could always find a song to match what I am/was feeling at a certain period of my life. For as long as I could remember, music was a gateway to my memories, and my self-made playlists were a photo album that I can look through depending on my mood.

Maroon 5 Manila Tour 2022

Maroon 5 was one of the bands that I listened to during my elementary and high school days— back when printing off lyrics organized in clear books, and singing to music and lyric videos were my form of entertainment. Fans all over the world can relate when I say that Maroon 5 has a song for any scenario, which is why their music reached different parts of the globe. And after three years, Adam Levine and his crew came back to serenade us all on their world tour.

Last December 9, 2022, Maroon 5 gave a performance at the Mall of Asia Arena that took me on a trip back to memory lane.

AND THE CROWD GOES WILD

Starting off strong was an intense introduction of Moves Like Jagger where you can feel the beat course through your body like a ticking time bomb. It was a visual and auditory feast for the fans, even I felt goosebumps.

ADAM LEVINE’S GUITAR SOLO

Adam Levine Guitar Solo Maroon 5 Manila Tour 2022

Aside from his good looks and wild vocal range, Adam Levine’s got the talent for guitar solos, too. Performing their second song This Love, the frontman himself took the stage with his black electric guitar, showing off his musicality while everyone watches him in awe.

A band known for diverse sound, Maroon 5 showcased their eras of experimenting with music through their setlist. Somehow, it all balanced out; from a rock and roll number and danceable pop hits to a sentimental and chill acoustic act, it was a concert dedicated to all fans, young and old.

A SHOW OF APPRECIATION

After a set of jumping and dancing to their pop hits such as One More Night, Animals, Love Somebody, among many others, the band prepped for their acoustic act, and Adam Levine had to show his appreciation to all his Filipino fans. “There are many reasons, but the number one reason we like to come here is because we know how much you guys love to sing,” the lead vocalist revealed.

Maroon 5 Manila Tour 2022

“Just so you know, this is a special place [the Philippines] for us because we know every time we come here, first of all, crowds seem to get bigger and bigger. You guys love to be in it with us. You guys sing louder. You guys sing louder than anyone else in the world!” The crowd went wild as lead guitarist and backup vocalist James Valentine and keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmicheal both nodded their heads and agreed with Adam’s speech.

Fans felt teary eyed while emotions filled the concert arena. “I’m telling you, from me and the rest of us, we love you!” shouted Adam, and as the crowd returned the love, the band proceeded to perform an acoustic version of a Maroon 5 classic: Payphone

ENCORE

Lights flashed in red as the band performed Girls Like You, with female rapper Cardi B projected on the screen serving as the backing track during the performance. After the song, fans thought the concert was over as the lights shut off and Maroon 5 left the stage. Little did we know that the band had something bigger and brighter in store for us, as they ran back on stage to sing Daylight.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Following the encore, Maroon 5 performed big hits like Memories and Lost Stars, followed by everyone’s favorite, an acoustic version of She Will Be Loved. The crowd looked left and right, spotting fans singing to their partners in embrace.

The band started strong and ended strong too. To close the nostalgia-filled night, Adam Levine sang Sugar at the top of his lungs and gave a performance of a lifetime. We were all praying that their set would last longer, but like all good things, it must come to an end.

Maroon 5 Manila Tour 2022

Hearing them perform the songs I used to listen to when I was younger healed my inner child, and I’m sure in some ways, it healed everyone else’s too. While the two hours flew by like a speed of light, indeed, their concert was definitely a night to remember.

Awaken Your Senses: Ben&Ben is Giving Us More Feels with Smart and Apple Music

line
Just another "Ma, may ____ na kami!" moment here.

Listening to Ben&Ben is such an extraordinary encounter, but vibing to their songs in a feels-like-they-are-just-sitting-beside-me level of music experience is almost literary.

It feels quite magical in how the folk-pop band Ben&Ben translates trivial little details of grief, pain, and doubt into a melody that soothes our aching parts. Whether it’s “Pagtingin,” which revolves around the feelings of frustration and anxiety of being into someone at a young age and being shy to go for it, or “Leaves” that talks about healing and forgiveness, or “Maybe The Night,” which alludes to special moments with others that we don’t want to slip away in time, there seems to be a Ben&Ben song for everyone.

But what happens when we’re taken on to a whole new level of listening experience? Yup, this is not your kathang isip talking! With a partnership that goes way back—from the “Inevitable” campaign song to the “Kwaderno” concert—mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. has made enjoying Ben&Ben music even more intense as the emotions of their songs because of Apple Music’s Spatial Audio feature.

Apple Music’s Spatial Audio gives its subscribers an immersive audio experience with true multidimensional sound and clarity. “Listening to a song… is like magic. The music comes from all around you and sounds incredible,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s Vice President of Apple Music and Beats. “Apple Music as we know it is about to change forever.”

With Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC) technology that preserves every single bit of an original audio file, legions of supporters from the Liwanag fandom will be able to hear the exact same thing that Ben&Ben recorded in the studio—the energy in percussions, the romance in electric guitar, the silent cries of a violin, and the courage of beating drums. Literally lunod with feels!
