If she isn’t starting or being associated with global trends on TikTok, being the most-followed Philippine-based creator on TikTok, or fangirling over Billie Eilish, Niana Guerrero is scoring career achievements before she is even 18. Just recently, she, along with her brother Ranz Kyle, got a star on the Eastwood Walk of Fame. And now, the 17-year-old social media superstar is up for her latest international award, a Kids’ Choice Award.

NIANA FOR FAVE ASIAN CREATOR

Last week, Nickelodeon announced the nominees for the 2023 Kids’ Choice Awards, which included those recognized under the Favorite Asian Creator category. And among the four creators nominated is Niana representing the Philippines. Rounding out the list are Aqil Zulkiflee (Malaysia), Gen Halilintar (Indonesia), and HIKAKIN (Japan). As for the rest of the nominees, Stranger Things leads the way with six nominations from the 31 main categories.

Niana is no stranger to killing it in the content game, which is why it’s no surprise that she nabbed a nomination. And while the talented dancer is up against strong competition, this isn’t her first time at the rodeo. In 2019, Niana was nominated for and won Favorite Pinoy Star at the KCAs. Now, she’s up for her second award, this time nominated with the hopes of bagging the win for Asia against some of the region’s best creators.

All 31 main categories as well as the regional ones are fan-voted. So, if you want to see Niana Guerrero take home her second orange blimp trophy, as well as support your faves in the other categories, vote here. The 38th Kids Choice Awards will be aired on March 8 with Nate Burleson and Charli D’Amelio serving as show’s hosts.
