Even when she was a little kid, she was already going viral with her brother Ranz Kyle and racking up tens of millions of views. Her pro-level dance moves and fun personality have made her one of the top creators on social media. She is the most followed Filipino on TikTok and is one of the most followed Pinoy creators on YouTube. In fact, she was recently named as the top local creator of 2021 by TikTok Philippines. It’s no surprise then that her fanbase expands all four corners of the world. And that attention includes the world of K-pop.

Niana herself is a fan of K-pop and has covered many K-pop songs over the years. In fact, Ranz Kyle even pranked her by covering her bedroom with pictures of Jungkook. So, the fact that quite a few idols have noticed Niana and her work is something that many can only dream of having. WHEN EXO’S CHANYEOL REPLIED TO NIANA’S DM

In a video posted on Ranz Kyle’s YouTube channel all the way back in August 2019, the siblings DMed 100 celebrities on Instagram hoping to get a response from some of them. Niana DMed EXO’s Chanyeol and to her surprise, he replied. Chanyeol complimented Niana on her dance skills and even followed her on IG for a bit. WHEN TWICE INTRODUCED NIANA AND NATALIA’S PERFORMANCE

Imagine TWICE themselves introducing your performance. Niana Guerrero can relate to that. The most recent entry on the list, Ranz Kyle, Niana, and Natalia performed during the recent FB4Fans event. Before Niana and Natalia performed TWICE’s SCIENTIST, the group themselves appeared with a pre-recorded message introducing the two of them and even said their names. Young legends only.

WHEN NIANA, RANZ, AND NATALIA TALKED TO SOMI

For most fans, the only chance they get to talk to their idols one-on-one is through fancalls that last less than a minute. But for Niana and Ranz Kyle, they got a chance to talk to an idol for much longer than that. Back in 2020, Niana and Ranz got a chance to chat with Somi and her sister Evelyn on Facebook Live. Somi even admitted that she wanted to meet them after seeing their dance covers. They talked about each other’s careers with Somi asking them about their dance videos while they asked Somi about her music. The sweetest part about it was that Somi and Evelyn surprised Natalia.

Not only does Niana Guerrero join in on dance trends, but she also starts them too. One of her most viral dance challenges was her cover of Booty Wurk by T-Pain. Her dc flew across the internet to the point T-Pain himself talked to Niana about it. It’s clear that her Booty Wurk dance challenge was really popular because even some K-pop idols got on the trend. Members Hangyeom and Junghoon of boy group Omega X, which made their debut this year, did Niana’s Booty Wurk dance challenge during a segment of their showcase.

WHEN BAMBAM DANCED TO ONE OF NIANA’S TIKTOKS

Niana the TikTok star strikes again in yet another sana all moment. Omega X isn’t the only K-pop idol who has tried to do Niana’s dance moves. In a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, GOT7’s BamBam recreated a series of TikTok dance challenges. And one of the videos shown was from Niana. It took BamBam three tries to get the choreography right, but he killed it.

WHEN NIANA AND NATALIA’S COVER OF PERMISSION TO DANCE WAS NOTICED BY BTS

Niana Guerrero’s dance covers have attracted attention in places all over the world. It’s no surprise then that BTS themselves caught wind of Niana’s covers. When the group posted their Permission To Dance (Shorts Challenge ver.) music video on YouTube, a clip of Niana and Natalia’s cover of PTD was included in the compilation. The fact that BIG HIT had to comb through tens of thousands of videos and decided to include Niana’s is a true feat.

BONUS PART 2: WHEN SM ENTERTAINMENT DMED NIANA

This list has been about Niana Guerrero getting noticed by K-pop idols. But have you ever imagined Niana herself becoming a K-pop idol? As weird as it sounds, it seems though that this might have been a real scenario. Back in May this year, Niana uploaded a video to her YouTube channel where she and her siblings did the dare wheel challenge. During one of Niana’s turns, she got dared to show her IG DMs. For a quick second, we got to see the many celebs who have reached out to her over DMs.

But one name that caught out eye was a DM from SM Entertainment themselves. That’s right, SM Entertainment reached out to Niana. Though what they said was not revealed nor did Niana address it. So, whether SM asked her to audition or something else will remain a mystery. It is interesting though if Niana did try to become a K-pop idol. For sure, she’ll be our bias.
