Another month has come to pass, but that doesn’t mean a shortage of new music releases. As we say goodbye to the September, here is a roundup up of the new music releases that you need to know about. Also, don’t forget to vote in our favorite music release in September poll.
The Feels – TWICE
TWICE have their eyes set on conquering the world as they just dropped their highly-anticipated first full English single, The Feels. The love song features a groovy beat and sound that would be perfect for any dance floor. The music video, meanwhile, sees the girls get ready to go to prom. The fact that we are getting a new album and tour makes it all the better.
Finish Line – Elton John and Stevie Wonder
Two music legends, Elton John and Stevie Wonder, have teamed up to give us new music with Finish Line. The track is a gospel-infused song that features Stevie’s trademark harmonica and vocals from The Sunday Service Choir, Kanye West’s Gospel Choir.

Fresh of the mega-viral success of double take on TikTok, dhruv is out with new music with the release of airplane thoughts. The track features a laid-back R&B sound that sees dhruv opens up about his thoughts to a person he likes while on an airplane.
Anghel – The Juans
Departing from their usual sound, The Juans steer towards a cheesy, boppy, and cheery song in\ Anghel. Their first romantic Tagalog track talks about the blissful feeling of being in love and the butterflies you get.
Pagsamo – Arthur Nery
Arthur Nery released new music this week with his single Pagsamo. The track sees the singer talk about wishful thinking and his dream girl all while reflecting his innate soul and passion.
Promises – Diplo, Paul Woolford, and Kareen Lomax
Diplo, Paul Woolford, and fast-rising Atlanta-born singer-songwriter Kareen Lomax dropped their latest anthem, Promises. The track is a life-affirming, gospel-driven house jam that has rousing piano chords and showcases Kareen’s soaring vocals.
Loaded – Shanti Dope and HELLMERRY
Rapper Shanti Dope has teamed up with HELLMERRY to give us their new track, Loaded. The rap song features a vibey sound as the two rappers take turns spitting bars.
Carnival – Tokimeki Records and syd hartha
Japanese music project Tokimeki Records teams up with Filipina singer-songwriter syd hartha to give their spin on The Cardigans’ Carnival. Their version brings the boogie and an 80s retro sound fit for the dance floor.
Lover Like Me – CL
Following the explosive SPICY, CL is back with new music with the release of Lover Like Me. The song sees CL sings about how her ex-lover won’t find someone like her anymore.
BAD LOVE – KEY
SHINee’s KEY dropped his first mini-album, BAD LOVE, this week. BAD LOVE also serves as the name of the lead comeback single. The track features a captivating electronic meets 80s pop synth sound.
Night and Day – Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett
Lady Gaga teams up with Tony Bennett for probably the last time to give us another jazz album, Love For Sale. If you’re a fan or want to see more of Gaga’s jazz side, then this album should give what needs to be given.
Panic Attacks in Paradise – Ashnikko
Ashnikko is mostly known for her hyper and in-your-face sound. But in her new song Panic Attacks in Paradise, Ashnikko strips it down. Backed by an acoustic guitar, she gets vulnerable about acting okay even though she doesn’t feel like it.
Hurricane – Cheat Codes and Tyson Ritter
Serving as their third single to their upcoming album, Hellraisers, PT 2., Hurricane sees Cheat Codes team up with All American Rejects’ Tyson Ritter. The track is an alt-pop single that combines rock, and pop influences.
Untitled 02 – One Click Straight
One Click Straight is out with new music this week with the release of their single, Untitled 02. The song is their take on love that defies the odds and features a neo synth dance-punk hybrid sound.
Ma’adi – Luka
Following the release of Mashi Baeed featuring Nadine Lustre earlier this year, Luka is back with new music with the release of the English-Arabic track, Ma’adi. The song, which translates to “it’s different” in English, is a dance hall-afro beat track that depicts a day towards the end of summer, lusting for a person that makes you whole.
Fue mejor – Kali Uchis and SZA
Kali Uchis has given us a new version of her hit fue mejor, and it features the one and only SZA. The track, which sees SZA sing in Spanish, is even sexier than it already was.
Cure – Valley
Alt-pop band Valley just dropped their latest EP, Last Birthday. The 7-track album features both new songs and their recent hits like Like 1999 and Tempo.
Deny – Like Me
Filipina OPM artist Deny is out with her new single Like Me. The boppy hip-hop track with an epic beat switch at the end revolves around the relevant theme of prioritizing self-love before anything else.
