With just a simple post on her social media accounts, Belle Mariano can get the conversation started. But aside from being a constant presence in Filipino pop culture for the past two years, what amazes us most about Belle is how some of the biggest moments of her life were brought about by taking that leap of faith. One of the reasons why she is where she is today is because of her character and resolve to be a better person. We’re definitely into that. That, a fast-rising career in the entertainment industry, and a whole lot more is what made Belle the perfect cover star for NYLON Manila’s N-pop Issue.

SHE’S SLAYING, YOUR HONOR

As one of the generation’s favorite It-girls, we often see Belle serve beauty, grace, and glamour. But for NYLON Manila’s first cover shoot of the year and her first with us, we wanted to show Belle as you’ve never seen her before. This is why we draped the rising superstar in a diverse selection of pieces, from a modern-day terno to a faux fur coat, all while whipping a contrasting jet-black straight ponytail that reached her waist.

Not many can serve an all white outfit on a white background, unless you’re Belle Mariano, of course. Whether she’s rocking cowboy boots or sneakers, Belle came prepared and we, as well as a lot of you, loved the outcome. Dying to know how this high-fashion moment from Belle Mariano came to be? Then check out the behind-the-scenes making of how the shoot went down as we captured Belle as the brave risk-taker she is.
