Last week saw established artists and breakout musicians release highly anticipated new music. Here are our picks of some of the new music releases of the past week that we’ve been playing on repeat since the weekend.

Butter – BTS

Following the worldwide success of Dynamite, BTS is back with new music with the release of their latest comeback, Butter. The track has us grooving and dancing all day long.

MAPA – SB19

MAPA is a heartfelt song from SB19 that shows off their vocals as they sing about thanking their parents for their love and support.

Next Level – aespa

aespa has new music out with the release of Next Level and it’s unlike anything we’ve heard before. The track is not your average K-pop song and is giving us slight I Got A Boy vibes from Girl’s Generation with the beat change.

Advice – TAEMIN

With Taemin set to begin his military service at the end of May, it’s going to be a while before we get to see more of him. Advice then serves as an excellent parting gift for his fans as something we can listen to as we patiently wait for his return.

traitor – Olivia Rodrigo

It feels like yesterday when we were just getting in our feelings listening to Driver’s License. But now, Olivia Rodrigo has new music out with the release of her debut album, SOUR. The album is full of bops, but we’re particularly loving good 4 u, traitor and jealousy, jealousy.

Anne-Marie and Niall Horran have joined forces in Our Song and we love how well their voices sound together.

SUN GOES DOWN – Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X caused some controversy earlier this year with the provocative music video for MONTERO. But in SUN GOES DOWN, the rapper is more toned down with this introspective song as he reflects on his life pre-fame.

Saturday – Twenty One Pilots

Twenty One Pilots’ fans get excited as the band has new music out with the release of their 5th studio album, Scaled and Icy. Considering that this is their first album in over 3 years, their new album is very much appreciated.

Baby Rye – Fern.

Fern. has new music out with the release of his latest single, Baby Rye. His vocals in the song are mesmerizing and it’s the kind of song you want to play and chill to.

Feel Good Pilipinas – KZ Tandingan and BGYO

KZ Tandingan and P-Pop boy group BGYO have collaborated on Feel Good Pilipinas. The song is a summer bop that makes us feel like we can go outside and have fun in the sun.

Heartbreak Anthem – Galantis, David Guetta, and Little Mix

EDM giants Galantis and David Guetta have teamed up with Little Mix for this unforgettable collaboration. Heartbreak Anthem is a whole bop, and the accompanying music video is something else with the girls looking amazing.

Blue Banisters – Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Ray just released her 7th studio album Chemtrails Over The Country Club in March. But she is once again releasing new music with the releases three new tracks ahead of her upcoming 8th studio album. All three songs are the classic Lana Del Ray sound we love.

Medicine – Dayglow

Sloan Struble, otherwise known as Dayglow, just dropped his highly-anticipated sophomore record Harmony House. Medicine serves as his latest single.

Too Many Tears – 88rising and Warren Hue

88rising has new music out with the release of Too Many Tears. The track is a collaboration with 18-year-old Indonesian rapper, singer, and producer Warren Hue. The self-reflective and sonically ambitious single serves as the lead single for the highly anticipated Head in the Clouds 3 collaboration album. Speaking of 88rising, they have a benefit concert on May 27th at 10 AM Philippine Time called Asia Rising Together to support the Asian Mental Health Collective and other Asian American organizations.

All Me – Boys World

The girl group Boys World has new music out with their new song All Me. All Me is a song that serves as an ode to the self-love and magnetic energy the girls give in what they do. The song is an anthem for female independence, including messages of self-acceptance and the determination to reclaim the importance of girl power.

Space Ghost Coast To Coast – Glass Animals and Bree Runway

UK group Glass Animals recently released Space Ghost Coast To Coast featuring rising UK female rapper Bree Runway. The song is actually from Glass Animals’ album Dreamland which was released last year. Bree’s vocals though make the song sound like it was released today.

Pieces serves as the debut solo single of Lia, the vocalist of indie folk-pop band Indayo.
