Other than their show-stopping looks in the Back In The Zone concert, SB19 continues to break barriers with their choice of eye makeup, hairstyles, and yes, even nails.
For a country as conservative as ours, it’s easy to raise brows when someone, especially men, wears even a little bit of makeup. Let alone being in a boyband and be called names just for being yourself. While this may still unfortunately ring true, P-Pop group SB19 are out to prove everyone otherwise. Last night at their Back In The Zone concert, they did not hold back and shut down all the hot takes on the unnecessary persistence of toxic macho culture. The newest standard for P-pop? Breaking records AND beauty standards at the same time. Fragile masculinity who? Read up on our favorite grooming moments from SB19’s Back In The Zone online concert.

GLITTER HAIR EXTENSIONS
To match SB19’s sparkly suits ala Saint Laurent for their Love Goes performance, hairstylist Mark Familara added some texture and shine (quite literally) to the hair of the boys.
CURLY HAIR
Another visual moment for SB19? Curly hair. While we did see Pablo’s glorious curls for their cover shoot, it’s refreshing to see Josh, Justin, and Stell trying a new look for Back In The Zone.
JUSTIN’S BRAIDS
Justin surely loves braids, so this deserves a spot on the list. He sported two different braided looks for SB19’s MANA and Bazinga performance. His experimental hairstyles are unexpected as Justin was the one who sent the pegs to their glam team. According to makeup artist Mac Igarta, “Justin de Dios is the creative director and he’s the one who sent the inspirations for each look. He gave us the freedom to interpret it & I am so happy that it turned out well.”
STELL’S ARM TATTOO
For the record, we’ve only seen Josh wearing tattoos for WHAT?’s music video in the past. But this time, Stell bares it all in a denim vest for SB19’s Bazinga performance for Back In The Zone.
KEN’S BLACK CLAWS
Ken has always been known for his bold style choices, but he takes it up a notch higher when he wore long black nails for their MANA performance. Can we appreciate makeup artist Mac Igarta’s version of smokey eye, too?
ALL OF THE EYE MAKEUP LOOKS
While Justin and Josh are more expressive through their hairstyles, Stell, Pablo, and Ken have been real experimental with their eye makeup looks. Whether it’s colored liners, glitter or a good smokey eye, SB19’s Back In The Zone concert looks were a subtle jab to all the people insisting men can’t wear makeup. For the record, they can, they did, and they very much will.
