Years after her successful debut album Daylight, Belle Mariano is ready to enter a new era in her music career with a brand new album in the works.
Apart from being busy as an award-winning actress, being one of the most sought-after young stars, and being one-half of this generation’s hottest love team, Belle Mariano also inspires through her music. ICYDK, Belle is a talented singer-songwriter who already has some hit anthems under her belt. (Stream Tanging Dahilan for some reference.) And after quite some time following the release of her first album Daylight, the phenomenal star is set to captivate us once more with new music in the works.

A NEW ERA
Last January, Roxy Liquigan, head of ABS-CBN Music, first shared a sneak peek online of a team of creatives joined by Belle Mariano, alluding to a brand new album cooking. It’s surprising yet delightful news from Belle two years after her debut album, Daylight, came out. In a series of tweets, Liquigan reveals that we’ll be witnessing Belle Mariano’s new era, with the hashtag #BelleTheSongwriter.

“Ang ganda ng concept niya for the album,” Liquigan adds. “Pati title, meron na siyang naisip.” More teaser posts follow, including a photo of Belle Mariano with fellow singer-songwriter Cesca who, according to Liquigan, helps guide Belle in her songwriter journey. And speaking of, One Music PH has also just released an official video with Belle, thanking her Bellelievers for believing in her and supporting Daylight, whose songs like Sigurado and Tanging Dahilan have already garnered millions of streams on Spotify.
“Now that another album is coming up, I hope you guys are able to love it as well, the way you loved Daylight,” says the Awit Award-winning musician. In another teaser post that trended nationwide, Donny Pangilinan accompanies Belle Mariano in a studio where, as per StarPop PH’s label head Rox Santos, a recording session has happened. A song with DonBelle in a duet for Belle’s next album? Fingers crossed! “I hope you guys like it, relate, and be inspired. Go through this journey with me once again.” We’ll definitely do, Belle.
