From teen actress to one of the biggest stars of her generation, Liza Soberano has had a storied career that shows no sign of slowing down. She is one of the top actors of the generation and is seen by many to be one of the most stunning women in the world. But despite how most people see her as just an artista with a pretty face, Liza also has her priorities and beliefs in order and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Especially in the past two years, Liza has used her platform to highlight certain issues and raise awareness for social problems. She isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers when she knows that things are right. Liza Soberano is a woman of talent, beauty, and integrity.

It is no surprise then as to why we chose her to front our anniversary fanzine. And as our anniversary cover star, we decided to show Liza in a way you haven’t seen her before. Given how Liza Soberano is a veteran of magazine covers, we here at NYLON Manila wanted to show her in a new light. This is why we decided to unleash her inner blonde goddess. Decked out in both Filipino and high-fashion labels (including a nearly P1 M Balmain jacket), and a gorgeous blonde wig, Liza stunned, slayed, and served. Curious as to how it all went down? Then you’re in luck. Watch this video series documenting the work that went behind the shoot and see why they say blondes have more fun.

And while you’re here, don’t forget that NYLON Manila is also launching its very first print fanzine with Liza on the cover. Read more about it here and pre-order a copy. The mini-zine features never-before-seen images of Liza’s cover shoot that you will only find in the fanzine so you don’t want to miss that.
