Avril Lavigne And More 2000s Icons Just Joined TikTok And The Internet Is Losing It

Wait, what? Are we back in the 2000s???

She may have said “see you later, boy,” but Avril Lavigne’s back again and has never aged a day! Along with more 2000s icons, she has jumped on TikTok and the Internet is losing it.

Avril Lavigne on TikTok was the last thing we would’ve expected. Wearing her signature necktie, tank top, and cargo shorts, she rocks it out to Sk8r Girl with pro-skater Tony Hawk. (Living legends of the 2000s to say the least!) Aside from us losing grip over Avril, more and more icons from that era have been owning the app. Sure, TikTok’s been embracing the Y2K era with some viral challenges that turn you into a Popstar from the era, but nothing beats seeing your favorite 2000s icons make a comeback and recreate their most memorable scenes. From Alicia Silverstone to Paris Hilton, here are our favorite nostalgic TikToks.

The closest thing we could get to a time machine is Avril Lavigne. 36 years old? More like forever 18. She’s still the same angsty teen we all aspired to be, the same way Tony Hawk is still the coolest skateboarder alive.

ALICIA SILVERSTONE

Ugh, as if! Alicia Silverstone aka Cher Horowitz from Clueless recreated her scene from the movie where she shutdown a random catcaller in school. But even more hilarious this time as she did it with her son! We are totally buggin’.
