Sometimes, people mistake their admiration for a public figure for thinking that they have a say in their life decisions, and Nadine wasn’t having any of that. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the superstar called out her “fans” who had the nerve to call her “tanga” because they thought they could live her life better than Nadine. FYI, celebrities have as much right as anybody else to dictate how they want to live their lives.

In an old interview with Edward Barber that has resurfaced recently, Nadine shared a moment where, as she was shopping in the mall, she didn’t say hi to another person in the store, causing the person to say, “suplada naman.” Aside from the fact that Nadine was out for personal reasons and therefore not obliged to say hi, she also shared in the interview that she wasn’t the kind of person to greet strangers. “I was never the type to say hi to everyone, smile to everyone, or wave because I don’t know you… People forget that we’re also people.”
