We need the bunny hats ASAP.

It’s the luckiest animal in the zodiac this year.

Bold choices lead to bolder fortunes. It’s a mantra we say to ourselves no matter what the sitch is. After the whirlwind of events from 2021 to 2022, we just have nothing to lose at this point. So, we’re betting on hope, prosperity, and abundance this Year of the Rabbit. It’s the luckiest animal according to the Chinese calendar, which makes perfect sense as rabbits are known to be high-spirited and a little feisty.

To help us attract more good energy this 2023, we’ve rounded up a list of collections inspired by the lucky animal for an exciting new year ahead of us—including a limited edition Barbie doll and cool Mandarin collar dresses we want to wear.

ZALORA’S MODERN MANDARIN COLLAR DRESSES

We love how Zalora Studios reimagined Chinese traditional wear when they released this fun and modern collection to ring in the new year. You’ll see shorter versions of the Mandarin collar dress, including coords, puffed-sleeve versions, and even a mini skirt.

BURBERRY’S BUNNY HAT AND BAGS

Conveying the adventurous spirit of the rabbit, Burberry’s newest collection features a baseball cap with bunny ears, varsity jackets, and embroidered bags that both kids and grown-ups would adore. Even the Burberry logo itself got the Looney Tunes treatment when they reimagined their monogram with the rabbit’s ears.

VANS HOPPIN’ OFF THE WALL SNEAKERS AND TOPS

Vans collaborated with Chinese artist Miro and Wujo for a quirky year of the rabbit collection. Our personal fave is probably the OG checkerboard slip-ons that got a spin-off thanks to Miro and Wujo’s bunny illustrations.

GUCCI’S ADORABLY CHIC CAPSULE COLLECTION

Gucci’s Lunar New Year 2023 collection is as festive and vibrant as it can get. Adorable depictions of the rabbit are woven into knitwear, on embroidered patches, on tees, shoes, and even watches. BRB, adding the denim jacket to cart!

Chinese couturier Guo Pei returns with a limited edition Barbie doll that showcases her rich heritage through intricately woven details on her outfit. Small details such as the embroidered dragon and the tiger represent earthly elements bringing luck, strength, longevity and prosperity to the upcoming Lunar New Year.

FERRAGAMO’S ELEGANT LUNAR NEW YEAR COLLECTION

Eye of the tiger? Nope. It’s the enormous eye of the rabbit emblazoned on Ferragamo’s silk scarves, shirts, trousers and bags for their capsule collection. Elegant and sophisticated to say the least.

NIKE’S LUNAR NEW YEAR SNEAKERS

Nike presents a subtle yet sophisticated collection with their Lunar New Year limited edition sneaker drop. Charming details such as the furry swoosh reminiscent of a rabbit, embroidered floral patterns and jaded teal accents will make your year full of fortune.

LOEWE’S BUNNY BAGS

Known for their sculptural leather bags, Loewe creates wearable art in form of a bunny bag to celebrate the new year. They’re made out of kappa calfskin, and the bags feature knotted rabbit ears.
