Who's your bias?

Catriona Gray, Ivana Alawi, Nadine Lustre, Kylie Verzosa, Nicole Cordoves, and Siobhan Moylan transform into disco queens for one night only.

Boo! It’s finally halloween season, our favorite time of the year. Just when you thought it would be an average working day, stars like Catriona Gray, Ivana Alawi, Nadine Lustre, Kylie Verzosa, Nicole Cordoves, and model Siobhan Moylan drop a surprise photoshoot and music video entitled, Disco Heaven. The brainchild is none other than celebrity makeup artist Jelly Eugenio who gathered all of his muses for one night only.

Echoing the words of Mother Monster, the concept was inspired by her early single of the same track title. Jelly transformed all the girls into disco divas each with a specific character behind every muse. Of course, if you’re a fashion geek, this shoot is packed with dozens of references from pop culture. It’s reminiscent of Studio54’s reign in the 70s, the glitz and glamour of past MAC campaigns, and Gucci’s short film: GG Psychedelic, which is fitting as some of the stars were seen sporting the brand.

If you’re still undecided who to go as for Halloween, here’s your sign. And yes, you can dance, you can have, and you can have the time of your life. See all the beauty and fashion tidbits from Disco Heaven below.

IVANA ALAWI AS JESSICA RABBIT

“I wanted her to look like this 20s, 30s na mga movie star,” Jelly shares on Ivana’s beauty look. The purple matte eyeshadow with strategically-placed rhinestones and the aubergine waves were a match made in well, disco heaven. Then she wore a body-hugging velvet dress a la Jessica Rabbit and hat by Just Bonita. The cherry on top? That Gucci brooch that looked blindingly beautiful.

NADINE LUSTRE AS CHER

You know you’re that girl when the reference for the beauty look is yourself. “She has done things that no other girl in the local show business has done,” Jelly says about Nadine Lustre, his long-time client for almost a decade. This “classic Nadine look,” as he calls it, is her signature sleek, mid-parted hair, a strong, but sensual graphic liner, and glossy lips that reminds us of the Goddess of Pop, Cher.

With the fashion not to be outdone, she wore the finale look from Just Bonita’s show, which was an embellished see-through dress accessorized with velvet gloves, silver Gucci mini bag, and heels.

KYLIE VERZOSA AS DIANA ROSS

Turn up the volume! “I wanted her to look the most disco, 70s, gorgeous big hair,” shares Jelly. Serving a look ala Diana Ross, Kylie Verzosa stuns in ultra-shimmery eyeshadow with placements of different sizes of glitter, paired with a berry lip. “I really chose that for her because that’s her vibe. She’s really shiny and sparkly. I mean, look at her. Just look at Kylie. She’s giving sexy.” Kylie wore jewelry by LVNA, silver bikini by Cruz MNL with star tapies by AJ Javier, sparkly gloves by Just Bonita, and metallic heels by Gucci.

NICOLE CORDOVES AS BARBARELLA

Whether you see the Britney Spears or Barbarella reference, either way you’ve won. “My whole vibe for her is more 60s, mas mod.” The baby blue eyeshadow with rhinestones instead of lashes on the undereye was just divine, especially with the bouffant hair. Nicole Cordoves was a 60s doll in a chainmail ensemble by Thian Rodriguez and sparkly bra by Jaz Cerezo. The fitting punctuation? The conch-like oversized sequined earrings by Kirsten Ariana.

CATRIONA GRAY AS KYLIE MINOGUE

We can’t get Catriona Gray out of our heads in this embellished hooded dress by Martin Bautista and jewelry by LVNA. With heavy references on Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé, this is her giving peak goddess energy. “Catriona’s makeup is really cat-like. I wanted her to have the longest, most feline eyes we’ve ever done.” The long braided ponytail tied the whole show-stopping look, complete with the 80s red and pink blush.

SIOBHAN MOYLAN AS MARILYN MONROE

Filipino-Irish model Siobhan Moylan is a modern Marilyn Monroe in Disco Heaven. “Siobhan really reminds me of my very first muse, si Allison Harvard of ANTM.” Jelly revealed that it was his OG muse that introduced him to the world of makeup. “Her (Siobhan) beauty for me is very alien-esque. You know, the big forehead and the beautiful features.” The single rhinestone tear drop, sealed with a red lip and the classic Marilyn bob was otherworldly, not to mention the intricately-embellished mini dress by Ushi Sato.
