Have you ever had that dream of being an all-around performer slaying the stage, going on international tours, and releasing original bops of your own? Well, it’s now the time to think about actually pursuing it as South Korean multinational entertainment agency, YG Entertainment, is set to make a stop in the Philippines for its series of global auditions.

Housing some of the greatest K-pop acts including BLACKPINK and BIGBANG among many others, YG Entertainment opens its application period today for the Filipino hopefuls as a part of its series of global auditions.
All those interested who were born between the years 2004-2012 are qualified to apply. Applicants must pick if they’re going to do vocals, rap, dance, or appearance for their auditions. Online applications must be channeled through this form and must be fulfilled through the course of the pre-application period that will run from March 7-9, 2023.
Meanwhile, those who choose to audition in-person must attend the on-site application on April 16, 2023 at the Zero Studio in Quezon City, which is owned by multi-award winning Pinoy dance crew, A-Team. Auditionees must be at the venue at 10 AM and should also sign up on the same day.
Those who choose to focus on vocals or rap in their audition piece must present one song within a minute without music while dance applicants must bring their own music via their mobile phones and give a one-minute performance. Pre-applicants should expect an e-mail containing their audition schedules by April 12, 2023.
YG Entertainment will also hold auditions next in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, USA, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand.
