NO TIME FOR HER HATERS

Given her star status, Francine has to sadly deal with the fact that she has her fair share of haters. But just because she has bashers camped out in her comments section, that doesn’t mean Francine is going to give them the time of day. Reacting to mean comments with Seth Fedelin for a YouTube video on her channel, the actress shared how she won’t waste her time talking to people who don’t want to hear her side.
Francine added that she would rather spend her energy on other things than defend herself from a biased crowd. “Siyempre, ‘di nila ma-ge-gets kasi nga close-minded sila.
At the end of the day, these hate comments get you nowhere. Divert that energy towards supporting your faves and less on attacking others.
ON CRAB MENTALITY AND CELEBRITY COMPETITION

In the high-stakes world of showbiz, it’s an inevitable reality that petty squabbles and comparisons will pop up. Yet, Francine doesn’t let herself get caught up in all that drama. In a YouTube video with Denise Laurel, the Gen Z actress shared how she isn’t one to get jealous of her contemporaries’ success and believes that everyone’s time will come.
“Ako, I believe we have our own time na mag-prove [ng sarili] sa industry. Kasi diba parang lahat naman tayo nagkayod, naghirap for this position kung na saan tayo? So we deserve it,” she said. May kanya-kanyang tayong timing. So, take it from Chin and don’t put people down just because they are doing well in life.
ON DEALING WITH BODY SHAMING

Like many of us, Francine Diaz is no stranger to bullying and its negative effects. In particular, the Dirty Linen star has been on the receiving end of body-shaming comments from netizens. She admitted that the comments do hurt her, but doesn’t let them get to her. Francine even uses them as fuel to be a better version of herself. And I think naging good naman yung resulta niya kasi I can say na nagiging better version ng sarili ko ever since ginawa kong motivation yung mga ganoong comments nila about me,” she said.
Instead of fighting her bashers, she chooses to fight for a better self, and that’s something we all can get behind. And as for people also experiencing body shaming, she implores them to not let it get to their head and focus on what matters most, you. So I say just focus on yourself and huwag mong pakinggan ang mga hindi magagandang sinasabi ng tao sa inyo.”
THE YOUTH AND THE POWER OF THEIR VOTE

Everyone has the right to use their platform, no matter how big or small, to speak up on what is right and going on in the world. Even celebrities, who are sometimes pressured by others to not speak up, can and should do so. During the 2022 elections, Francine shared on her Instagram that she voted and expressed how the youth have an important role to play when choosing the country’s leader. It’s an important message worth remembering and sharing.
IT’S OKAY TO FEEL YOUR FEELS

We sometimes face the pressure of pretending to be someone that we are not in scenarios where we feel like our real personalities won’t fit. It’s a situation even Francine has faced. While she isn’t one to fake it until you make it, she did admit during a lie detector test with Bea Alonzo that her genuine personality isn’t front and center all the time.
She attributes this to the fact that work can be very stressful, and the pressures of being a public figure can take its toll. “May mga pagkakataon na kunwari sa work, tapos I’m not having a good day, so I have no choice siyempre kailangan naka-smile ako.” Honesty, let celebrities feel their feels. They are real people at the end of the day with real emotions, both good and bad.
TAKING ON THIRD-PARTY RUMORS HEAD-ON

If this list has taught us anything, it’s that Francine isn’t one to spend her time on hate, rumors, and intrigue about herself. Yet, there comes a time when it gets too much and you have to stand up for yourself. That’s the case when Francine got social media talking when she went on Instagram Live to tackle the third-party rumors that she supposedly stole Seth Fedelin from Andrea Brillantes.
“Wala akong inahas, wala akong nilandi, wala akong inagaw. Malinaw?” she said matter-of-factly in the live. Later on, Francine shared how she kept silent because she felt it was for the better. But it reached a point where she had to speak up as things were getting out of hand.
“I think it’s time for me to speak up. And that’s on what? Period.
