For its second year, the P-Pop Convention (PPOPCON) comes back to give an ultimate Pinoy Pop celebration that will be grander than ever.

When the first-ever P-Pop Convention (PPOPCON) was held in April of last year at a jam-packed Araneta Coliseum, it solidified the undeniable impact that the Pinoy pop genre has made on the local music scene. PPOPCON, which was the biggest live music event at the time since the pandemic started, served as the space for fans and artists to celebrate the phenomenon that bound them together. Most importantly, it showed that OPM is still alive and that its future will be a vibrant one thanks to the incredibly powerful and transformative Filipino talent. And this 2023, the Pinoy pop community has another reason to rejoice as PPOPCON returns and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
TWO DAYS OF P-POP GREATNESS
Ever since PPOPCON’s inaugural year, a lot has happened in the Pinoy Pop scene. There’s SB19 taking on their first world tour and making history left and right, ALAMAT releasing their first mini album, BINI and BGYO making their comebacks and debut international performances, and the coming of SBTown Philippines’ first girl group, YGIG, to name a few. With just all these milestones in mind, this year’s PPOPCON is certainly going to be one victorious celebration.
Coming back to make some noise at the City of Firsts, Araneta City, the second Pinoy Pop Convention brings the biggest and hottest P-Pop groups together in this ultimate fan-gathering and concert in one. For its sophomore year, the PPOPCON aims once more to amplify the ever-growing P-Pop community through exciting engagement and awe-inspiring entertainment.
Just like last year, the event will be split into two main venues. From March 18-19, 2023, P-Pop stans get to revel in two days of games and activities, booths, and official merch selling to meet-and-greets, performances, and surprises at the New Frontier Theater. March 19, meanwhile, will be the main show at Araneta Coliseum which kicks off in the evening.
Ticket sales have also started rolling out with prices that range from P1000 to P5000. And get this, you’ll enjoy a 10% discount on your purchase until February 3, 2023! While the full lineup of P-Pop acts has yet to be unveiled, it’s confirmed that 1st.One, 4th Impact, Press Hit Play, KAIA, and BGYO are set to make their PPOPCON comeback.
