Filipino NCTzens are eating well these days. Last year, NCT 127 held their first-ever solo concert in the country to resounding (and viral) success. NCT Dream are set to hold a two-day concert later in April. And for fans of WayV, they got an up close encounter with the boys following their recent fanmeet in Manila on March 26. While WayV did travel to the country in late 2022, Ten wasn’t there and it felt a little quick for some.
So, when it was announced that the NCT sub-unit was coming to Manila as part of their Phantom fanmeet tour, you can bet NCTzens were excited. It was their first fanmeet in the country, a moment not to be missed by fans as thousands made their way to Araneta Coliseum for the event. While we process seeing our fave boys live, here’s a look at a few of the highlights of the evening.

When they were here last year, the group found the time to visit the bay area near MOA Arena. Now, they paid a visit to Intramuros. They really made sure to get those tourist miles during their Manila stay.

During their fanmeet, WayV prepared covers to three of their fellow SM Entertainment artists; SHINee, NCT Dream, and aespa. Our favorite was the boys busting it down to Illusion all while wearing their cute headbands. It was a taste of what Filo MYs are going to experience in April.

WayV performed a flurry of their tracks that would make any NCTzen happy. But nothing beats seeing and hearing them perform the legend itself live. And props to the styling team for letting Kun dance in more comfortable shoes.
