Kaori is shining brighter than ever.

Kaori Oinuma’s life after the Pinoy Big Brother house was always aligned with one of her greatest dreams.

In an interview last year, Kaori recalls that she tweeted-slash-manifested her dreams in 2016 that she’ll become a PBB Housemate in the future. “Dati tinweet ko pa nung 2016 ata or 17 na sabi ko, magiging akong isang PBB housemate, ganyan. Tapos nung 2018, sakto merong pa-audition sa Japan.” Kaori then traveled for eight hours alone and almost didn’t make it in time for the audition in Tokyo! Good thing, it all worked out for in the end.

Cue in the Ang Kawaii Daughter ng Japan era where most people fell in love with Kaori for her selfless lness and big dreams. She even shared that she only wanted to try acting to help her family, but the more she explored different roles, the clearer her path was. “Parang unti-unti ko na syang minamahal, mas nagugustuhan.

Without having any workshops or experiences in acting after her PBB stint, Kaori Oinuma just trusted her gut and went with the flow. She then got supporting and leading roles along with fellow housemate, Maymay Entrata. But it wasn’t until He’s Into Her where Kaori really stood out and proved to everyone that she’s one to look out for. She reveals in the interview that she’s been a fan of the book ever since she was young and didn’t expect that she would even get the part. “Dati ko pa kasi nabasa ‘yung book na ‘yun, as in sobrang bata ko pa mga 2015/2016 ko pa nabasa ‘yun.” Well, that’s the magic behind manifesting your dreams, because who else is going to believe in you other than yourself?
