Fans were treated to a two-for-one special of meeting Kim Soo Hyun and an opening performance courtesy of Belle Mariano.

Fans of Kim Soo Hyun were eating good on January 17, 2023, as they got the chance to see the K-drama actor in the flesh. The fanmeet marked the second event the actor has had in the country in less than a year since his Bench fanmeet at the MOA Arena last June. This time, it was Dunkin’ PH who brought Soo Hyun to the Araneta Coliseum for a night of fun and games. But as fans packed the venue in a sea of pink lights, they were treated to a special opening number courtesy of Belle Mariano who very much was giving strong pop star vibes.

BELLE TO CENTER STAGE

Before the fanmeet, it was announced that Belle would serve as an opening act, which already brought the initial excitement through the roof. A Kim Soo Hyun fanmeet and Belle Mariano performance, what’s not to love about that? And as expected, Belle didn’t disappoint as the lights dimmed and she stepped on stage looking stunning in a custom pink outfit from Joseph Palma. With backup dancers in tow, Belle started her performance with a cover of Dua Lipa’s One Kiss. Belle is no stranger to performing on stage or at the Araneta Coliseum, but she really was in K-pop star mode during her performance. Singing was on point and dance moves were on lock.

And to add a little diversity to the set, she then serenaded the crowd with her vocals with her song Sigurado. The combination of the sea of pink as Belle sang was a sight to behold. Belle Mariano solo concert this year when?

NOTHIN LIKE A KIM SOO HYUN FANMEET

Of course, we can’t forget the man of the hour as Kim Soo Hyun appeared on stage dressed in all black to a chorus of screaming fans. Throughout the night, he was more than game to participate in the activities; from answering fan questions, playing games, and even giving a lucky fan a sana all moment. His charm and visuals were on an eleven that night.

Starting the year with a Belle Mariano and Kim Soo Hyun moment was something we weren’t expecting but were more than happy it happened. Belle ate her performance to the delight of the crowd and it is always a treat whenever we can get the chance to see Soo Hyun in person. And the cherry on top was the fact that she got to meet the actor up close. Another Y/N moment for Tink.
