These young stars, artists, and personalities put in the work both in their careers and education this 2024, with their diplomas as proof.
It’s often thought that once you become famous or make it as a celebrity, you’re set for life with fame and fortune following. But that is not how it always works. Fame, after all, is fleeting and can disappear in a snap of a finger. This is why even famous faces who have managed to build successful careers for themselves still prioritize their education. And the graduating class of 2024 includes a few artists and personalities who have managed to balance their careers with their school responsibilities to get that degree.
It just goes to show you that education and preparing for your future are still important no matter your status in life. And, if these stars can put in the work to get their degrees despite their busy schedules, so can you. Check out the stars who graduated this year in the midst of slaying their careers.

2024 is undoubtedly BINI’s year. But even their mammoth success hasn’t stopped the members from pursuing their education. Case in point: BINI’s Maloi and Colet graduated from senior high school, completing the Humanities and Social Sciences strand with honors. The P-pop idols were scholars at the Japan Philippine Institute of Technology in Bulacan and underwent blended learning to adapt to their busy schedules.
As a nice touch, they both received special citation awards for Arts, Media, and Entertainment during their graduation ceremony. As for what’s next for them education-wise, Maloi hopes to pursue a degree in the Multimedia and/or Fine Arts fields while Colet might be a Dr. Colet in the future as she would like to take a degree in anything medical-related.
BGYO’S GELO, MIKKI, AND JL
Following in their P-pop siblings’ footsteps, BGYO’s Gelo, Mikki, and JL also completed SHS from the Japan Philippine Institute of Technology in Bulacan through their blended learning program. Gelo graduated from the General Academics strand, Mikki from the Humanities and Social Sciences strand, and JL from the STEM strand. Similar to Colet and Maloi, the trio were also given special citation awards for Arts, Media, and Entertainment as recognition of their efforts and contributions in their career.
What’s next for the boys? For Gelo, BGYO’s leader is looking to either a Multimedia Arts or a Business degree in college. JL has his eye on an Engineering degree. Mikki, meanwhile, hopes to keep it in the family and take up Architecture or Interior Design like his brother.

Janina Vela has always used her content to educate her audience, whether it be how to navigate life as a young adult to more recently the issues currently facing the country. It’s this thrust that actually inspired her to take up Political Science in college. We have a feeling she’ll take her advocacies to the new heights now that she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Ateneo de Manila University, with Honorable Mention, no less.

We love a queen who can slay the walk, both on the runway and graduation stage. Miss IloIlo 2024 and Miss Eco International Philippines 2025 Alexie Brooks can add one more title to her name: college graduate. The morena beauty completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management from NU Manila this year. The fact that she was a college senior from the College of Business and Accountancy at NU while also being a fan-favorite as a Miss Universe Philippines 2024 delegate is kinda mother behavior if you ask us.
