Some people may think that just because you are famous, you are set for life. But that isn’t always the case. Even with fame and fortune, there are celebrities who still choose to prioritize their education. Despite the challenges they face as working students, they still persevere for their studies. Like with most other students, celebrities read the readings, do the projects, and answer the exams. A handful of young stars and personalities strived and managed to balance their work and their school to achieve that coveted degree and join the graduating class of 2022. Can Alexa Ilacad be anymore perfect? She’s a talented actress, wonderful singer, body positivity advocate, and her relationship with KD Estrada are goals. But aside from that, Alexa is also a top performing student. She has made headlines in the past for receiving top marks in her grades. And the young star achieved her biggest academic flex yet by graduating with a degree in Marketing from Treston International College. She also finished school with a GWA 1.0 and dean’s list distinction. Truly a woman of beauty, brains, and talent.
DONNY, HANNAH, AND ELLA PANGILINAN
The siblings that graduate together, stay together. Recently, Donny revealed that he and his sisters Hannah and Ella all finished their degrees together. And FYI, these were international degrees that they got from the College of Global Development from Washington State. As shared by Donny, who finished with a Bachelor of Ministry in Christian Leadership, the trio decided to complete their degrees together. And despite all the challenges and roadblocks they faced along the way, they still got that degree. Just like that, another green flag has been added to Donny Pangilinan.

Claudia Barretto has worn many hats throughout her still young career. She’s a musician, businesswoman, and podcast host. And she can also add college graduate to her list. Even with a lot on her plate, she managed to receive honors from her school, Ateneo de Manila University. And all her hard work came to fruition as she is graduating with a psychology degree this year. For followers of Alliana Dolina, seeing the YouTuber graduate college was a heartfelt moment and a long time coming. She has shared in her past videos about how school wasn’t easy and sometimes struggled with her class requirements. But all that hard work paid off as she finished with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from UST. And the best part was that she receive a Magna Cum Laude distinction, no big deal.

Bea Gomez groundbreaking career is proof that she is a women of beauty and brains. The 2021 Miss Universe Philippines added college graduate to her already impressive resume as she finally finished from the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu. She was awarded the Outstanding Graduate for AM Mass Communication of ETEEAP Batch 18. In case you didn’t know, that stands for the Commission On Higher Education’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency Accreditation Program, a program for working students to recieve their degree without going through the traditional schooling methods. And a college degree is just the start for her as she’s shared in a past interview that she will be pursuing a master’s degree in social psychology next.

Not only is she a fast rising TikTok creator with more than eight million followers, she also managed to focus on her studies as well.
