Ever since she won Idol Philippines in 2019, Zephanie has been regarded by many as one of her generation’s best singers. At her young age, she is a music star and has a voice that can go toe-to-toe with the most seasoned of singers. Her small frame hides the fact that she has a gigantic voice. And the fact that she was recently part of Now United’s boot camp shows that her talent is undeniable.

Ian Pangilinan, meanwhile, got his start in theater before transitioning into acting on screen. And it sure was an impressive transition with his first-ever role being in the popular Gaya Sa Pelikula as Vlad. As one half of the PangPang love team, Ian established himself as one of the next generation of actors to watch out for. And if that’s not enough, he also is an incredible singer and has released two singles so far, Katabi and Kilometro Zero.

We already know that both artists are stars. But when you combine both of them together, it turns into something spectacular. And that was on full display in their recent duet together.

ZEPHANIE AND IAN REWRITE THE STARS

The two stars recently joined forces for their cover of Rewrite The Stars. The song, an original performed by Zac Efron and Zendaya from the soundtrack of the 2017 hit movie, The Greatest Showman, was a standout in the movie, and has since been covered by many equally amazing artists. And Zephanie and Ian’s take on the song does it justice. Ian opens the song with his effortless charm and vocals. Zephanie meanwhile flexes her sweet yet strong voice.

Both of them sound so good together and their vocal harmonies by the song’s climax are a joy to listen to. This enchanting duet perfectly shows off each individual’s talents, as well as how well they mesh together. They really complement each other and we also like how Ian is wearing white while Zephanie is in black to represent the contrast. The feelings, emotions, talent are on full display and it was an exercise in vocal bliss. Now, the only thing we need now is for both of them to release an original collab.
