Premiere night is almost here with the NYLON Manila Big Bold Brave Awards Night and party happening on June 24.
When we launched Big Bold Brave Awards: The Sequel in May, we imagined it as a celebration where fans come together to vote for their most worthy faves to win their respective category. Across 15 categories, we highlighted and heroed names, faces, brands, and more who have been or should be on everyone’s radar this past year. And with the theme of the sequel, we imagined it all through the lenses of a bigger, better, braver, and bolder movie sequel that was worth the price of admission. And true enough, that exactly what happened.
Hundreds of thousands of fans went on our website and voted for their picks on our website polls. Over the course of two weeks, more than 20 millions votes were cast across the board, making it our biggest internet milestone to date. If the Big Bold Brave Awards 2022 were a movie, it would have been a box office smash to say the least. And with an event as big as this, it was only fair that we celebrated the winners and all those who made the awards what it was through a grand, fun flair. This is why we’re celebrating the night away with the NYLON Manila Big Bold Brave Awards Night and party on June 24.
A NIGHT FOR CELEBRATION
The Big Bold Brave Awards Night is the culmination of the whole event and our way to celebrate the winners, acknowledge the nominees, thank the fans, and have the best movie night possible. Like with the main event, the awards night party will stick with the theme of the sequel. Movie trailers and free popcorn are just some of the things to expect at the hottest premiere night in town.
The night’s festivities will of course include an awarding ceremony where each winner will take home a custom made trophy. Watch out, because they will also be given the opportunity to say a few words to thank you, the fans, for the love and support. There will also be a few performances throughout the night from some of the hottest young artists in the music scene. And there might even be a special surprise coming at the end of the show. The night will then be capped off with a specially curated DJ set where guests can hit the dance floor and party till their heart’s content.
BIGGER, BOLDER, BRAVER
As we are going bigger, bolder, and braver, the dress code of the night will be a reflection of this. Guests are expected to show up in looks that scream Big and Bold. Oversized fits, maximalist silhouettes, and even some baring of skin are all part of the dress code. Keeping things plain and simple is not what the Big Bold Brave Awards Night is about. Those in attendance are highly encouraged to experiment, express themselves, show up, and show out. And speaking of looks, it won’t just be the nominees who will be taking home awards for the night. Among the guests, we will also be naming a Best Beauty Look as presented by BYS.
Now, some of you may be wondering, who’s going? Well, we won’t be revealing the guest list here as we don’t want to spoil the fun. But rest assured that all the nominees and winners have been invited as the guest list is a who’s who of young stars and personalities who have been killing it in their respective fields.
