ALEX GONZAGA

You could say Alex Gonzaga is a pioneer when it comes to celebrities starting their own YouTube channel, and not just for the sake of having one either. She established her channel back in 2017 and in around four years has made a name for herself as one of the premier YouTubers in the Philippines. Alex mainly posts vlogs about her life or does skits and parodies of trending topics. With over 11.3 million subscribers and counting, she’s the most followed Filipino celebrity on YouTube. Her success is all the more impressive considering that when she started, she felt people would only watch her videos if her sister would be in them.

CHOOX TV

With over 5.89 million subscribers on YouTube, ChoOxTV, whose real name is Edgar Dumali, is the most followed Filipino gamer on the video-sharing platform. His claim to fame is his streaming of Mobile Legends where he initially spoke through a voice changer before he eventually revealed his real voice. The South Cotobato native may have started into game streaming at a relatively late age, but that hasn’t stopped him from being one of the most popular game streamers in the country. Thanks to his success, Edgar was also able to make a better life for himself and his family and even built his dream mansion thanks to his success from Mobile Legends.

CONG TV

Talk about OG. Lincoln Velasquez, or more popularly known as Cong TV, has been on YouTube for more than 12 years now as he uploaded his first video in 2008. Ever since then, he has built his brand through his comedy videos, game streams, and the general fun he gets into with his friends to over 8.65 million subscribers. He also regularly features his girlfriend, Viy Cortez (who has a popular YouTube channel, too), as well as members of the Team Payaman, a group of rising content creators where Cong TV serves as the leader.

DONNALYN BARTOLOME

Donnalyn Bartolome started posting on YouTube when she was 14 years old originally just for her friends. But soon, she started to gain a following on the site and afterward became a staple on the local YouTube scene. Donnalyn’s content ranges from a wide variety of topics from beauty tutorials to vlogs about her life, pranks, and everything in between. She also uses her YouTube channel to promote her singing career and currently stands as the most subscribed Filipino singer-songwriter on YouTube with over 7.86 million subscribers.

IVANA ALAWI

Ivana Alawi had a lot of false starts in her career. After initially dreaming about becoming a housemaid, she shifted her focus into becoming a celebrity. But no matter where she went, whether it be for commercial audiences of PBB, she was always rejected. But when she started her YouTube channel was when she hit the stratosphere. The video that set her on a path to stardom was a video she posted about her life at home. Special in its simplicity, with her just acting normally, the video quickly went viral and has racked up 28 million views as of this writing. Ever since then, she has grown to be one of the top Filipino YouTubers with over 13.7 million subscribers. Her success just goes to show that just being the natural you will get you places.

NIANA GUERRERO

At only 15 years old, Niana Guerrero is the youngest person on this list, which is quite impressive. Niana has been killing the game since she was 10 years old and is the undeniable social media star of the Philippines with one of the highest followings of any Filipino across on social media. This holds true on YouTube as she currently has 13.8 million subscribers, making her the third most subscribed Filipino YouTuber on the site. Niana is most known for either doing or starting dance covers and challenges. And she also posts videos of her and her family doing challenges.

RANZ KYLE

While some people might know Ranz Kyle as Niana Guerrero’s older brother, Ranz has more than earned the right to be followed based on his talents alone. He is also an equally talented dancer and frequently posts dance covers, challenges, and pranks, among other things, on his YouTube channel. In fact, with over 14.4 million subscribers, he is the second most followed Filipino YouTuber on the video-sharing site, and he’s only 24 years old.

ZEINAB HARAKE

Even though Zeinab Harake posted her first video on YouTube just in July 2019, she already is one of the top Filipino YouTubers. In one month, she surpassed one million subscribers and by her first anniversary, she had over 6.2 million. Today, the 22-year-old currently has 10.9 million subscribers, one of the few local YouTubers to have their subscriber account surpass eight digits.
