Given his chart-topping success, you would be forgiven if you didn’t know that Zack Tabudlo didn’t win the season of The Voice Kids he competed in. Believe it or not, he only made it to the battle rounds before getting eliminated. While it still stung, the early loss didn’t affect his career trajectory. In just a couple of years, Zack has become one of OPM’s brightest new stars with numerous instant classics under his belt.

The musical prodigy’s songs are so good that they’ve even transcended borders, as seen in Zack’s recent trip to Malaysia where he played to a crowd of local fans. Given that, it’s not that surprising to learn that Zack has linked up and worked with quite a few international musicians. It’s giving global star in the making. Here are a few of those famous faces Zack has met.

COLLABORATING WITH JAMES TW FOR THE ENGLISH VERSION OF BINIBINI

By 2021, Zack was already in the industry for a few years. But it was with the release of Binibini that Zack had his breakthrough moment into the mainstream that year. The track was such a massive success that it even had an English-language remix called Binibini (Last Day On Earth). And it wasn’t just Zack singing the new version of the song as English singer-songwriter James TW came on the track to add his own take

DUETING WITH BILLKIN

Among Zack’s many, many fan-favorite hits is Give Me Your Forever. The touching love song hits in all the right spots, especially with Zack’s brain-scratching vocals. As if the song couldn’t get even better, Thai musician Billkin hopped on the track in 2021 for a remix, marking Zack’s first duet with a Southeast Asian act. We have a feeling this won’t be his last though.

BEING BFFS WITH JOHNNY ORLANDO

Zack and Johny Orlando are more than just co-workers, they’re practically besties. It all started when Johnny had a few events in the Philippines in late 2022, and Zack was his guest for a mall show. It’s safe to say that they found a lot in common as their friendship quickly blossomed. As proof of that, the two young musicians got tattoos before Johnny left the country. And this past February, Zack joined Johnny for an updated version of someone will love you better, taking the track to even greater heights. It’s only a matter of time before we get an original duet from the two.

MEETING KESHI

It’s time to get the prayer circle ready and make a collab between Zack and keshi a reality. Who knows, we may get a remix to LIMBO.

LINKING UP WITH LAUV AT THE STUDIO

Zack Tabudlo with Lauv

It’s been nearly a year since Zack got social media talking with these pics of him and Lauv at the studio, and we have yet to see any collab from the duo. Still, we have our hopes up because a Zack x Lauv track could be a pure banger and literal magic. At the very least, it’s a flex Zack got some studio time with Lauv.

PERFORMING WITH LANY AT THEIR MANILA CONCERT

Zack Tabudlo with LANY

In hindsight, Zack Tabudlo meeting up with Lany during his trip to LA was a foreshadowing of what was to come. During the group’s five-day mini-residency in MOA Arena last 2022, they invited a select few Pinoy musicians to take the stage, and one of those was Zack Tabudlo.

BONUS: JUNGKOOK LISTENING TO ONE OF HIS SONGS

BTS’ Jungkook listening to Zack Tabudlo? This is our multiverse of madness. During a recent livestream, a Pinoy fan asked Jungkook to listen to Give Me Your Forever, which he actually did. Jungkook liked it so much, he said he would add it to his playlist, as he should. Thank you to the Pinoy ARMY who made this a reality.

BONUS PART TWO: SHAWN MENDES COMMENTING OF ZACK’S COVER

@zack.tabudlo WHAT A DREAM. @shawnmendes ♬ yeah hot people use this sound – cxaluv

Another day, another international artist praising Zack Tabudlo. This time, it’s Shawn Mendes who commented on Zack’s cover of his song, It’ll Be Okay. Given Zack’s reaction to the development, it definitely is more than ok.
