With high inflation and the subsequent increase in prices of most basic goods, wallets and budgets have tightened as of late. People are extra careful at what is to be purchased and leaving out unnecessary items. Because of this, it has become increasingly harder to find needed items for relatively cheap, such as books. Whether you’re a bibliophile on the hunt for that next read or a student in the need of schoolbooks, the struggle is real for affordability. Luckily, a local bookstore has a tempting offer with a warehouse sale where you can cop books for as low as 50 pesos per kilo. And no, that’s not a typo.

Recently, Books for Less began a warehouse sale in Pasig where shoppers can get pre-loved books for low, low prices of 50 pesos per kilo. That is, so as long as you can carry it and pay for it. Considering that it is a warehouse we are talking about, you’ll have no shortage of books to scout and read. And this sale is not a one-time event, it’s a near week-long moment as it runs every Monday-Saturday, 8 AM – 6 PM.

It should be noted though that the sale ends once the books they have on hand at the warehouse run out. Luckily, new stocks arrive daily, so there’s always something new to discover. However, once that reservoir of stock is depleted, the sale will be over. It’s advised that you hoof it to the warehouse ASAP and preferably early so you can have first dibs on the day’s books.

If you do decide to go, the store recommends bringing your own eco bags so you can easily carry the books you purchase. So, if you’re in the need of some books for less, you know where to go.

The warehouse is located at 643 Frankfurt Street, Mercedes Avenue, Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City. Nearby landmarks include La Consolacion College and Puregold Mercedes.
