TEEN CLASH FEVER

New school, new kids, new love await you with the series adaptation of the hit e-novel Teen Clash. In the newly released energetic and vibrant teaser, a budding romance between Zoe (Jayda Avanzado), an aspiring recording artist, and Ice (Aljon Mendoza), a suave songwriter, whose bands are set to merge for a music contest. Conflict arises as a shocking scandal revealed at the end of teaser upend their lives; one that involves getting stuck at a restroom together.

Teen Clash is based on a Wattpad’s rom-com tale of the same name by Ilyn Anne Danganan also known as Ai or iDangs on the literary platform. It was published in July 2012 and has over 60 chapters and 100 million reads to date. With a second novel already published on the website, which has been read millions of times, too, Teen Clash has undeniably captured tons of hearts and truly deserved an online series treatment.

BlackSheep, the producer of the show (and the minds behind Exes Baggage, Alone/Together, Isa Pa With Feelings, and Fan Girl) first unveiled the lead cast of the iWantTFC Original series in August of last year, revealing that RISE and Star Magic artists Jayda (her debut project), Aljon, and Markus Paterson, who plays the dashing rockstar Jude, will be the trio of protagonists.

Ai, the author of the novel, couldn’t contain her excitement and told the fans that Teen Clash is “in good hands” and that she trusts the whole team and the cast. As shown in the sneak peek, while it is an adaptation, the digital series also puts a different spin on the story, with characters already in college at the fictional Asian Peninsula University (as opposed to the novel’s Kingdom High) as well as new characters to root for.
