Ryan Bang is no stranger to hosting big events, especially those involving major Korean stars. So, with the Asia Artists Awards being held in the Philippines for the first time this year, the producers needed someone who could handle the parade of Korean artists coming to the show. So naturally, they went with Ryan Bang, who was tapped to be the official host for the red carpet.

Featuring global stars like LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, EXO’s Suho, Stray Kids, and more, the red carpet wasn’t short on star power and had enough to light Metro Manila’s Christmas lights. Ryan Bang was there for it all as he helped the celebs pose for the cameras from local and Korean media. But if you caught the livestream, you’d notice that Ryan wasn’t just a good host, he was also letting out his comedic side.

Even if it was a globally watched event, Ryan did not hesitate to say what he wanted to say, and honestly, we’re here for that. His colorful commentary, not to mention his switching between multiple languages, lit up social media. The way he added a sprinkle of ✨dogshow✨ to his hosting just made the carpet so much better and helped liven it up. Where else are you going to find a host who isn’t afraid to add side comments at a major awards show? He even caught the attention of international viewers as a sign of how much he won the IDGAF Awards.
