The 10th Wish Music Awards are happening this January 19, and if you want to see your faves go up on stage to accept their trophy, here’s how.

2024 was a banner year for OPM. From chart-topping hits to rising artists, OPM made its presence, influence, and impact known even more so this year. Local acts held their own against international superstars, and we love to see it. It’s those feats and achievements that are taking center stage at the 10th Wish Music Awards.
THE BEST OF OPM FOR THE 10TH WISH MUSIC AWARDS
For the past ten years, the WMAs have celebrated the artistic achievements of local musicians and artists. This year is no exception as the WMAs nominated over 70 acts across 19 major categories in recognition of their contribution to the industry this 2024. In particular, the awards show recognizes the best Wishclusive performances, songs, and artists during the eligibility period. For its 10th edition, the eligibility period is from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
It culminates on January 19, 2025, when the winners of the 10th WMAs will be named on the awards night at the Araneta Coliseum, which will include performances by TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan, Maki, G22, and more. And the best part? You have a say in who takes home the trophies. ICYDK, the Wish Music Awards allows voting in its categories, and this year’s has been open since November 8. But as we approach the final stretch of WMA season, it’s time to give a last hurrah to your faves. Here’s how.
The public can cast their votes via awards.wish1075.com or the Wish App, available on the App Store, Google Play, and Huawei App Gallery. Voting is open until January 10, 2024, at 12 noon with the final result coming from the Wishers’ votes (30%) and the judges’ votes (70%). In case you need a little more motivation to vote for your faves, the winners will bring home not just a WMA trophy, but also a cash prize of Php 25,000, and Php 100,000 for their chosen charitable organization. Who says supporting your stan list won’t do any good?
Apart from major awards, a special recognition called the Wishers’ Choice Award will also be presented to the nominee with the highest number of votes across all categories, so make sure your vote counts. Wish 107.5 will also hand out KDR Icon awards during the evening, including the KDR Icon of Musical Excellence and the KDR Icon of Music and Philanthropy.
