Has work or life just been too stressful lately? Feel like everything is just too much? If the answers is yes, then that means you need a much-deserved vacation. And what better way for some R&R than to get out of the city and enjoy some peace, quiet, and fresh air. Luckily for you, Julia Barretto has got the perfect destination for you, her family villa in Bulacan. The actress, along with her mom Marjorie, have recently entered their Airbnb host era, opening up their villa in Bulacan to visitors for the very first time.
AIRBNB WITH THE BARRETTOS
Tucked away in Calumpit, Bulacan is the Barretto’s family villa called River Garden Rest House. Situated along the Angat River, the property was initially bought by the family over 20 years ago. Ever since, it has become one of Marjorie’s pet projects as she continuously built the home to how it stands today. Today, it currently serves as a rest house for the Barrettos. But this October, the doors will be open to welcome outside visitors as Julia and Marjorie made the property available to book on Airbnb. The mother and daughter will personally serve as the house’s hosts.
Waiting for you at the villa is a collection of amenities that make for that much-needed escape from the city. The home is just an hour’s drive from Manila via NLEX, making for a relatively quick trip. Once there, lush greenery welcomes you, making you immediately feel at one with nature. Guests have an unobstructed view of the Angat River where a gazebo on the private property can let them enjoy the gorgeous views that are worthy of the Gram. The villa is decorated with items Marjorie has collected over the years, so expect to find a whole host of interesting antiques that fit the vibe of this nature-themed getaway.
PARADISE BY THE RIVER
The property has a total of four rooms, and in-line with the nature them, each one is named after a flower (Sampaguita, Santan, Gumamela, and Bougainvilla). The Sampaguita Room is the master’s suite while the Santan Room has a view of the Angat River. All told, the four rooms can house up to fifteen people. Other treats awaiting you include a private pool, a fully-stocked outdoor kitchen, and multiple dining areas. And to top it all off, caretakers and staff will be there to help you with your needs.
If all of these sounds like your next barkada trip out of the city, you better act fast. The villa will only be available to book on October 15, 22, and 29 with it costing 25,000 pesos for the night. By the way, if you manage to book the October 15 slot, Marjorie and Julia Barretto will be there personally to welcome you and share the stories behind the property. Not only will you be able to see the stars at night, but also up close. How’s that for getting your money’s worth? You can check out the Airbnb listing here.
