We’re ready to see the trifecta of Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere, and Demi-Leigh Tebow at the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night. Oh, and the special guest? Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu.
We’re only a few weeks away from crowning the next Miss Universe Philippines, but we’re already hyped up. How could you not feel the thrill when most of the guests and judges for the night are literally the winning queens of the past? Obviously they’re looking for a lady to join their club.

Just a few days ago, it was confirmed that one of the special guests is the current Miss Universe, Harnaaz Sandhu. She recently went viral on TikTok for a clip showing her shutting down a reporter that belittled her journey in the pageant world. Of course, avid pageant fans have already expressed their excitement in seeing the queen.
This year’s coronation night is much-anticipated too because of the hosts. Pia Wurtzbach, Iris Mittenaere, and Demi-Leigh Tebow who are all past Miss Universe queens are about to be the power trio that will dominate the night. We’re already expecting a lot of memes and funny lines given that these winners are all regal in their own right. If your hosts are the holy trifecta, I’d be nervous as a contestant, too. Imagine the energy in that room!
It’s only fitting that the winning queens of the past would host such a grand event given that they also had their fair share of trials and plot twists in their run as titleholders. Pia Wurtzbach alone will go down in pageant history as one of the most unforgettable queens because of that moment of confusion between her and host Steve Harvey. The Miss Universe 2015 winner has been a good sport all these years, so we’re excited to see her own during the coronation night.
Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow on the other hand is one fearless female. It can be remembered that she was carjacked a month after being crowned Miss South Africa and defended herself by punching the suspect in the throat. She then advocated for more self-defense workshops all around the world and equal pay for both men and women.
We’re just as obsessed too when we found out that Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere will be joining the winners circle for the night. (She’s also wearing a Michael Cinco gown in the photo above.) Iris has attended a lot of pageants all over the world since her reign, traveling to different countries as a judge for Puteri Indonesia in Jakarta, at Miss Egypt in Cairo, at Miss Peru in Lima, at Miss Guyana held in New York City, and at Miss Diva in Mumbai. Are we even surprised? Iris didn’t come to play.
The Miss Universe 2022 coronation night will be held at The Mall of Asia Arena on April 30.
