Can you imagine going to school while your K-pop bias is your classmate? These UAAP edits certainly did as if they were ripped straight from a fan fiction.

At this point, K-pop has permeated pop culture to the point that you can find it in places that you normally wouldn’t expect. For example, as a product of many daydreams in the UAAP school system, the K-pop and school imagination actually makes sense. While it’s one things to see K-pop idols do a school concept, it’s another to imagine EXO as graduates from UP Diliman.
With the newest season of the UAAP on-going and quite a few colleges having face-to-face classes once more, it wasn’t long before K-pop found its way back to our schools. And if you think about it, fans editing and imagining their biases as UAAP students is just their way to show their love to their faves. It’s definitely a fun and creative way to show love. But it also has an air of curiosity behind it as you think of which UAAP school would best fit a K-pop idol.
Honestly, its giving fan fiction, but in the best way possible as if it’s an AU (alternative universe) where you go to one of the biggest universities in the country and have one of the members of SEVENTEEN as your classmate. Admit it, you probably imagined what it would be like to go to school with your fave K-pop idol. Considering how most of them are or approaching college age, it’s not that hard to picture it.
