Recently, the New Gen Phenomenal Love Team, DonBelle, continues to prove that they don’t just make everyone fall head over heels in love with their chemistry. And if their performances on ASAP Natin ‘To are anything to go by, DonBelle also charms everyone on stage with their charismatic stage presence.
First, we had Belle Mariano’s collab with the P-pop girl group BINI, which, to be honest, she fit in so well she could very well be their ninth member. And now, in the latest ASAP episode, Donny Pangilinan teams up with the Aces of P-pop themselves, BGYO, in a presentation that will ultimately make you swoon. So, here’s what happened.
THAT SUMMER FEELING
In the March 19, 2023 episode of the longest-running musical variety show, Donny Pangilinan took to the stage with Akira, Gelo, JL, Mikki, and Nate of BGYO with a performance that will help us all welcome the summer season. For those of you who’s still on a Harry Style’s Love on Tour concert high, then the boys’ smooth and swaggy performance of Watermelon Sugar High could be just the right piece for you to reminisce and fill your Harries heart full.

This is also a special ASAP segment, which marks Donny’s first time collaborating with a P-pop group for a performance. And as you would expect from the Gen Z multimedia star himself, Donny does not disappoint, blending well with the white-clad and magnetic-as-ever BGYO. With BGYO’s sleek moves and fresh vocal quality to Donny’s usual suave presence, this collab, just like the song, gives off that endearingly wonderful and warm vibe perfect for the szn. Apart from this highlight, Donny Pangilinan also jammed with Gary Valenciano to Kool & The Gang’s Ladies Night as a tribute to all the female artists in ASAP this International Women’s Month and a romantic rendition of Bread’s Everything I Own. And we won’t forget that kilig-inducing moment where Donny gave Belle a rose on stage and everyone went crazy. Meanwhile, on top of their on-going guestings left and right, BGYO has also recently announced a live BE:US album showcase this coming May to celebrate their second anniversary in the industry.
