WHAT IS THE JENTLE SALON COLLECTION?
Whenever Jennie and Gentle Monster drop a new collection, it always makes for a moment, and that continues with JENTLE SALON. The collab presents an eyewear collection embellished with eye-catching charm designs that encourage a diverse expression of style. Composed of eight different frame silhouettes, the JENTLE SALON collection features fun, customizable elements such as detachable charms as well as temples that slide into one’s hair, resembling a barrette.
Spice up your look with eleven charms that reflect Jennie’s favorite things like capybaras, pearls, and clouds, amongst an on-trend yet refined line of eyewear through Gentle Monster’s official on and offline stores. The imagery in the campaign, captured by artist and photographer Petra Collins, creates a sense of magic with an analog lens which invites viewers to experience JENTLE SALON’s magical dreamscape.
HOW DOES THE BGC POP-UP LOOK LIKE?
True to Gentle Monster’s ethos of turning the surreal into reality, the pop-up stores have been transformed into a fantasy world that is quintessential Jennie. Inside the JENTLE SALON BGC pop-up store, nostalgic stuffed animals are reinterpreted through the eyes of Gentle Monster, expressed as fantastical objects centered around mythical unicorns, manifesting Jennie’s dreams.
Most notably, the pop-up’s main attraction, aside from the eight styles and eleven charms you can purchase, is a giant unicorn object adorned with hairpins. As for prices, prepare to spend anywhere between 15,000-20,000 pesos for the frames and 1,000-3,000 pesos on the charms.
WHERE IS THE POP-UP LOCATED AND WHEN IS IT OPEN?
The JENTLE SALON Pop-up store is located at Shangri-La at The Fort, Manila, 5th Ave, Taguig, and will be there until June 30. The store is open from 11:00 am – 10:00 pm from Sunday-Thursday and 11:00 am – 11:00 pm from Friday-Saturday. Also, there’s no need for you to reserve a spot or pre-register to enter.
