HORI7ON takes it slow and gives us all the feels with ‘Salamat,’ a new song dedicated to their ever-supportive fans.

Over two million views and counting, that’s the impact that newly-minted and proudly Pinoy pop group HORI7ON made weeks ago when they dropped their fiery track, Dash. They’re only in their pre-debut days but Jeromy, Marcus, Kyler, Vinci, Reyster, Kim, and Winston are already making a name for themselves. Just like their pre-debut song, the group is ready to go sky high as a global seven-piece act. And today, the Dream Maker boys make their Filo stans proud once more with a brand new song that will give you all the feels.

After going all out with the heavy-hitting beats and fire energy in Dash, HORI7ON takes it slow, mellow, and introspective in Salamat. Released under MLD Entertainment, Salamat is composed by HORI7ON’s frequent collaborator and mentor Bull$EyE, together with Jinsol and Ondine of AVEC Music and MEANG CO. In Salamat, Jeromy, Marcus, Kyler, Vinci, Reyster, Kim, and Winston look inward and show us all what inspired and made HORI7ON the way that they are now.

“Tuloy akong nangangarap dahil nandito ka /  Napapatuloy ako dahil sa suporta mo / ‘Pag wala ka, wala rin ako / Salamat.” While Salamat may have its romantic undertones, it’s much sweeter how its overall message ultimately points to HORI7ON’s love for their passionate supporters. It’s dubbed their “fan song” for a reason. As you may all know by now, the boys were chosen by their fellow Filipinos and it’s fitting that Salamat becomes HORI7ON’s love letter to their fans who have witnessed their individual growth.

A mix of nostalgic snapshots from their Dream Maker journey, their first moments together as a boy group, and some cute recording and behind-the-scenes bits, the Salamat music video is like a HORI7ON diary that fans can keep and return to for when they want to reminisce about the group’s humble beginnings. And it proves to be effective as Salamat has quickly risen to the trending charts online. HORI7ON stans were quick to express their love for the song’s inspiring words and admiration for Marcus, Kyler, Jeromy, Reyster, Vinci, Kim, and Winston‘s vocal talent. 

Others, just like Salamat, also couldn’t help but get emotional and voice out their support and excitement for what’s in store for HORI7ON. “HORI7ON will always be our home, happiness, & solace,” writes another supporter, adding that the boys will never be alone because their fans will always be there for them. Fans’ hearts melted as well when HORI7ON posted some personal thank-you messages on the group’s official socials. And speaking of, as another way of expressing their gratitude for their fans, HORI7ON will hold their first-ever fan meeting on April 22, 2023 at the New Frontier Theater.
