The 2022 elections are set to be the most important elections the country will face in decades. This is why it is encouraged that you register to vote and Maris Racal has been a vocal proponent of this. She has participated in events encouraging people to register and she even documented her journey of registering for the first time, Maris also has on a few occasions advocated for extending the voter registration deadline past September 30.
WHEN SHE ENCOURAGED PEOPLE TO GET VACCINATED

In one of Maris’ TikToks, someone commented how Maris had small boobs. Seeing the comment, Maris responded in her signature comedic way by poking fun at herself for not having big boobs and a big brain. Back in early 2021, a fake photo was circulating online of Maris Racal and Sue Ramirez of what looks like them naked. But in reality, it was just edited to look that way. When Maris caught wind of the fake photos, she took to Twitter to not only call out the photos, but people who were maliciously making fun of her and Sue’s body. “Kung sino man ang nag edit nun, wala kang utak. The killing of Sonya Gregorio and her son at the hands of a police officer in 2020 was truly a disgusting act. And the fact that it happened near Christmas made it even worse. Among the chorus of voices who spoke out against the senses killing was Maris who took to Twitter to call for justice for this heinous crime. She also rightfully asked how many killings were not caught on camera. Maris even retweeted a tweet from Mimiyuuuh about Filipinos who support BLM also call out the killings in the country.
