“That’s a drop-top coupe / Said you wanna drive it down real soon / I just wanna love you like I do…” Sound familiar? The catchy song by J. Tajor is making the rounds on TikTok as the soundtrack to a new dance trend going viral on the platform, pioneered by young Filipina student, dancer, and choreographer Rizelle Disono.

In the age of TikTok, practically anyone can find fame and virality by starting a trend. It’s one of the advantages of the platform: it can catapult talent into the stratosphere and someone into global recognition with just one fifteen-second video. “Since I rushed the dance choreography,” Disono shared. “I didn’t think [it] would go viral. I was shocked and surprised that major K-pop idols noticed it.”
The 23-year-old posted her TikTok in early November 2023, but the trend has been picking up as of late, particularly in South Korea, with idols, dancers, and TikTokers in general dancing along to the choreography. Even dancer and choreographer Bada Lee was caught practicing the dance. Below is a compilation of the idols posting their own entries dancing to Like I Do inspired by Disono.
SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Vernon were two of the earliest idols along with TXT (who have since deleted their own video) to hop on Disono’s trend, which is a fun Pinoy connection given that they’re going to the Philippines themselves for their FOLLOW concert this weekend.
ZEROBASEONE
Rookie group ZB1’s Seok Matthew looks like he had some fun in his own cover, choosing to go solo and vibing along to the track. Fellow members Gyuvin and leader Hanbin followed not long after. Maybe Matthew taught them the moves!
&TEAM
Following their GENTO collaboration with SB19 at the Asia Artist Awards, &TEAM’s now done at least two Filipino-made dances in the last two months, with K, Yuma, and Taki dancing to Like I Do in their own practice studio.
RIIZE
RIIZE’s Shotaro even credited Disono in his caption, as he should. As RIIZE’s own song Love 119 is being claimed by Pinoys these days, this cover is another moment where Filipino and K-pop culture meet.
