8 Things You Can Do At The New Nike Fort Store

line
Shoot some hoops, take some selfies, and a whole lot more.

Trust me, there’s a handful of cool things you can do.

When you’ve got a huge space of 14,000 sq. ft., it might be easy to get lost. But not to worry though, because Nike’s new store at the Fort has tons of new activities to make your visiting experience waaay better. Take it from me who used to live the crazy routine of an athlete with no time for any outfit changes in between. Back then, my ultimate goal was to find sportswear that I could use in trainings to meetings, as well as activities at night. Believe me, the struggle was real.

The good news is, you don’t have to worry about any buzzer beaters this time as Nike’s store crew will happily assist you with whatever you need. From shooting hoops at the new Experience Studio to taking pictures inside their locker room’s CR, Nike Fort has done it again—all for the love of the sport.

1. GET YOUR SHIRTS, CAPS, TOTES, AND SHOES CUSTOMIZED AT THE CITY REPLAY ZONE

The City Replay Zone is Nike Fort’s newest area where you can have your shirts silk-screened, caps embroidered, and shoes decked out with pins, patches, and new laces. My favorite was the Nike By You designs created by local artists Hey Mady that highlighted Filipino cultural icons married with our love for sport, and Bitto’s colorful, quirky prints that featured the banig and jeepneys.

2. SHOOT SOME HOOPS AT THE EXPERIENCE STUDIO

The Experience Studio located at Nike Fort’s first floor is a space dedicated to customers who want to sweat a little more, and not of the shopping kind. Here, you can unleash your inner athlete and shoot some hoops, do yoga, and do a bit of weightlifting. By appointment, of course.

Obviously, I felt a little rusty playing ball again after three years at the Experience Studio, but thankfully one of their store crew helped me find my groove back with dribbling. Nike also hosted a mini NCT workout during the opening and trust me when I say, it was intense. But it was a cool way to remind me of how I fell in love with the sport in the first place, connecting with people from the sports community that hyped me up in every part of the whole exercise. Like what the brand has ingrained to us, there’s no other option but to just do it.

3. TAKE A MIRROR SELFIE AT THE LOCKER ROOM’S CR

Inside the Experience Studio is the locker room CR that’s painted in orange—reminiscent of Nike’s signature orange box. Hot, hot, hot selfies coming through.

4. RAID THE MEN’S SECTION

The men’s section has a comprehensive range of products that go from sport to lifestyle. At Nike Fort’s second floor, be prepared to pick up some graphic tees, overalls, vintage polo shirts, and tactical jackets. Oh, and be prepared to be wowed by the wall of sneaks. I picked up the tactical overalls in the mens section in the smallest size, grabbed some caps, and a pair of dunks—something my previous athlete self would definitely wear.

5. GET DECKED IN NIKE’S COOLEST FITS BY THEIR STYLISTS

If you’ve got nothing to wear or can’t decide on things like a textbook Libra (a.k.a. me), Nike Fort’s store stylists are here to save the day. You can request for one-on-one styling sessions at the Sport Hub. I was also able to try their Women’s First Hour service where their stylists recommended a few products for me to try on and helped me pick the best fit. The first floor of womenswear is divided into different sections like sportswear, lifestyle, and huge area full of the brand’s signature sports bras, giving us more room for choices. While I did pick a few things from menswear, what I like about Nike is how most of their products are genderless, especially for someone like me who switches their mood real quick.

6. CHECK OUT THE KID’S SECTION FOR STATEMENT TEES

Today’s kids are lucky they’ve got access to cool clothes and sneakers. If you’re the type that’s into baby tees or are a bit petite, check this section out at the first floor near the Experience Studio for some unexpected finds. Best believe I copped some shirts designed by local artist Googoo & Gaga, known for their kooky style.

7. LADIES DON’T HAVE TO QUEUE WITH THE WOMEN’S FIRST HOUR SERVICE

With Nike, ladies are always on top. The women’s line alone takes up at least 40% of the store’s space having more options, options, options to choose from. The best part? You don’t have to queue, especially if you’ve signed up for their Women’s First Hour service that includes a one-on-one styling session. Saves a lot of time for those who aren’t really into spending long hours at the store.

8. TAKE PHOTOS FOR THE ‘GRAM AT THE STORE’S HUGE MURAL

Outside of the Nike Fort store is a giant mural that you don’t want to miss. Created by local designer Bitto, it shows how Filipinos are able to convey their love for the game. To them, anywhere is a basketball court, making sport a daily habit. You’ll spot the jeepney and women playing basketball all painted in our famous sorbetes colors. Taking one for the ‘Gram, that’s for sure.

Nike Fort is located at B3, Bonifacio High Street, 9th Avenue.
