The Round-Up: Another Serving Of Bangers Just For You

line
So many new albums, but we aren't complaining.

We don’t know what we did to deserve a new NIKI, Zild, and beabadoobee album released in the same week, but we’re thankful.

As August rolls on, so has the new music kept up with another week bringing us even more bops and bangers. From awaited comebacks to new albums from our faves, check out the latest release from the past week below that should be on your radar (and playlists).

WHY WHY WHY – SHAWN MENDES

For Shawn’s return to music, the artist gives us a folksy and upbeat reflection of how his life has been in the past few years.

KALAKAL – SB19 AND GLOC-9

This rap and hip-hop-heavy number sees SB19 and Gloc-9 chronicle what it means to build a legacy through hard work, determination, and talent.

BUZZ – NIKI

It’s appropriate that NIKI called her new album Buzz because that’s exactly what it’s giving us. The title track encapsulates the rush of raw emotion and bittersweet nerves of a budding romance and speaks to how the LP centers on the feeling of being on the precipice of something undiscovered.

LIFETIMES – KATY PERRY

Walking On Air’s sister? Signs point to maybe.

DREAM – KESHI

This beautifully haunting number finds keshi reminding us that, yes, those “what ifs” can keep you up at night as you seemingly can’t let them go.

BEACHES – BEABADOOBEE

Excuse us while we get lost in our daydreams and deep thoughts through beabadoobee’s new album.

I.N.A.S – ZILD

If Zild had a superpower, it would be, among other applicable options, how can channel any era of vibe he wants while still making it its own.

LAST PARADE – BAMBAM

A departure from what we’ve come to expect from BamBam, but that chorus eats though.

BROUGHT THE HEAT BACK – ENHYPEN AND AVA MAX

Ava Max hops on this funk and dance-pop track for a fresh and energetic twist that’s lowkey giving So Am I 2.0 (IYKYK).

YOUNG RICH & IN LOVE – KALI UCHIS

We’re just being spoiled at this point with Kali dropping another journey with her new album.

CURIOUS – UNIS

This pop-rock combo makes for a competent bop.

HIT ME UP – MIRANI AND MINGI

The way their distinct sounds blend so well here is *chef’s kiss*.

FAVORITE – CHLOE AND ANDERSON.PAAK

We love it when two musicians have fun on a song.

ROMEO – KAKIE

There’s something so quirky about this song, and we’re kinda here for it.
