Recently, Insignia Presents announced that comedian Atsuko Okatsuka is coming to the Philippines as part of her International Full Grown Tour this July for a show at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura on July 13 at 8 PM.
In case you need a refresher, Atsuko Okatsuka is an American stand-up comedian, actress, and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Over the past few years, she has risen the ranks to be one of the most promising comedians on the scene. Some of her feats include being named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in 2022 and being the second Asian-American woman to have a stand-up special on HBO.
For the Marvel fans out there, she voiced a variant of police officer Yuri Watanabe in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. Just look at some of her material, you can be the judge of it. Add to that her killer fashion sense of style and iconic haircut, Atsuko is giving comedy’s it-girl energy.
She’s bringing her fearless and boundary-pushing comedy to her Manila debut for a night of sharp wit, charisma, and infectious energy. From Los Angeles to Manila, Atsuko’s unique brand of humor guarantees an unforgettable evening of entertainment. As proof of the hype, her Manila show sold out but don’t worry, as Insignia Presents added a second show on the same day at 6 PM.
