Another week, another exciting list of new releases from the biggest artists in the world and our indie faves to comb through. So, below, we’ve collected some of our favorite recent songs, albums, and EPs we’ve been lowkey obsessing over as of late that you may want to add to your playlist.

MANTRA – JENNIE

One of the head it-girls making an it-girl anthem? We know that’s right! For her solo comeback, Jennie is unapologetic and undeniable as she stomps through a bold beat and confident lyrics about being that assured girl.

IYKYK – XG

We love an upbeat earworm from XG. The girl group always coming through with stylish serves.

PUSH 2 START – TYLA

The way our hips started moving the moment we pressed play. Tyla treated us to a few more bops with her deluxe album.

365 – CHARLI XCX AND SHYGIRL

Charli xcx knows that a remix is more than just an extra verse. She gives the whole production, as heard in brat’s remix album that gives every song on the LP a brat-approved facelift.

UP – KARINA SOLO – AESPA

The girls did their thing with their solos, but Karina was on a mission when she recorded her song. And she succeeded.

TOUCH – KATSEYE AND YEONJUN

Ok obsessive boyfriend Yeonjun. We like how he used his verse to answer the girls and tell them he’s sorry.

PANSININ MO NAMAN AKO – ANGELA KEN

Angela said “Pick me, choose me, love me” because, at the end of the day, what we’re waiting for is to be noticed so you can see the love.

WYA – JESS CONNELLY

Another track for the baddie playlist was added.

OOPS I DID IT AGAIN – ZAE

Yes, Zae did it again when it comes to dropping bangers with this fire beat and bars.

CHECKS & BALANCES – YOUNG COCA

This flow? The young artist did his thing by channeling a Western vibe in the raps and a smooth energy in the chorus.

ELEVEN – LAST DINOSAURS AND GRRRL GANG

Originally appearing on the band’s 2018 album Yumeno Garden, this reworked version features a verse from Grrrl Gang (a crossover we never saw coming) that revitalizes the song.

STRANGE DREAMS – NIKI COLET

This young artist’s EP is a tender, vibrant pop record about loss and longing, combining elements of rock, dance, dream pop, and alternative music. It is a short but satisfying body of work that’s equal parts nostalgic and contemporary and makes for a gritty, ethereal soundscape you can both cry and dance to.
