This 2023 has been a great year for live shows and concerts. As more and more artists announce new albums, and subsequently, new world tours, we’re left asking, what about us? Fan culture in the Philippines is rich and diverse, and artists have always mentioned how much they love the Philippine crowds. So why leave us out? Regardless of the reasons, we’re loud and proud about how much we want to see our favorite artists live and maybe, just maybe, if we manifest all together, we’ll witness some Philippine show dates drop.
We already have a stacked lineup of concerts in the Philippines coming soon, from SEVENTEEN and Niall Horan to Coldplay and IVE (also, make sure to check out this list to get updated on who’s scheduled to perform next year!). But the acts below are either touring already or have yet to announce tours but are coming out with new music and we’re hoping makes a stop in the Philippines in 2024. And we also want to see which ones you’re simply dying to see hold a concert in the Philippines very soon. TAYLOR SWIFT
Ah, the great uproar. Taylor Swift’s massive hit The Eras Tour infamously left out the Philippines for reasons unknown, but Filipino Swifties continue to prove that a stop in the country would be worth her while. From consistently getting her songs to chart to performances by drag queen Taylor Sheesh, we’re celebrating Taylor whether she’s here or not.

The solo artist and The Voice judge announced The Show: Live on Tour show dates earlier this year in support of his new album The Show. The list includes cities in Europe, North America, and Oceania—with room for more.
5 SECONDS OF SUMMER

The streets are saying the four-piece band is going on hiatus (frontman Luke Hemmings saying “see you in a couple of years” in the last few European shows isn’t helping) as soon as the tour ended, but we’re nothing if not optimists here. The 5 Seconds Of Summer Show has been an Eras Tour of sorts as they perform a roster of songs from their older albums, as well as a “surprise song” every stop, chosen by the audience throwing around a giant red dice with the song options.

Gen Z pop princess Olivia Rodrigo announced her GUTS World Tour last month, and sadly, the Philippines is not on the list of stops—yet. Given that the half-Filipina herself revealed she wanted to tour the country because “people there are so welcoming and hospitable and awesome,” there’s still plenty of hope.
LE SSERAFIM
K-Pop girl group LE SSERAFIM’s first concert tour FLAME RISES includes Asian dates that are commonly listed alongside a Manila stop. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the list—yet!—so here’s hoping that the girls will perform here soon and they get to witness how a Filipino crowd showers their favorite artists with love.
ENHYPEN
Fourth generation seven-member K-Pop boy group ENHYPEN kicked off their FATE World Tour in the States on October 6th, with shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, and more. Given the success of their Manifesto concert in Manila earlier this year, perhaps they’d like to come back?

Queencards (G)I-dle are currently touring Asia, North America, and Europe on their I Am FREE-TY world tour. Considering the group already has held a concert in the country before, perhaps another go-around next year can happen.
XDINARY HEROES
South Korean rock band Xdinary Heroes recently revealed the dates and stops for their first world tour Break the Brake, with stops in Seoul, Europe, and many more to come. The tour is named after the title track of their fresh new album Livelock.
JACKSON WANG
Magic Man, solo artist, and GOT7 member Jackson Wang has been all over the world the past year. From the Met Gala to music festivals, the artist has been booked and busy and is set to embark on a 2023-2024 world tour with announced stops in Mainland China and hopefully more international dates to come.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER
We know, we know, the K-Pop group TXT’s Manila show for their world tour ACT: SWEET MIRAGE was held last August, and the tour will end with Seoul shows in December. But with the imminent release of their new full album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, another world tour in the coming year would be amazing as Filipino MOAs would get to see their idols kill it on the stage again.

JUNGKOOK
With the upcoming release of his solo album Golden, and massive amounts of love the nation has for him, BTS member and solo artist Jungkook may find it in him to perform live in the Philippines soon. Fingers crossed!
