Sharing the spotlight with family members is not unheard of, especially in the showbiz industry in the Philippines. Nothing wrong with following in a famous parent’s or sibling’s footsteps, but it’s always refreshing to see famous kids acknowledge the leg up they get just by virtue of being part of a famous family or have a famous last name, and it’s fun to watch and anticipate how they carve their own way in the industry.
The 2024 GMA Gala saw a few of these new-generation artists and personalities take the red carpet—solo or joining their parents or siblings. They’re getting their name out there and getting a taste of the limelight, and a red carpet gala event could very well be where they can show out. From self-proclaimed “nepo babies” to siblings in the spotlight, here are the kids, parents, and siblings that made the GMA Gala a family affair.
