TikTok’s favorite Filipino mom was featured in the intro of Beyoncé’s lyric video for Break My Soul.
We’re pretty sure you’ve come across Mama Lulu’s hilarious videos on your FYP at some point. Her funny yet warm nature has made her a social media superstar ever since she first blew up in 2019 because of how relatable her and her son Oliver’s (@otakoyakisoba) content is, especially for all Filipino families. Whether it’s giving the best tita advice for those who are still single at 40 or stanning her faves like BTS or Beyoncé, Mama Lulu is unapologetic and unfiltered at best.
Recently, Queen B dropped her lyric video for Break My Soul and guess who was the video vixen? Duh, it just had to be Mama Lulu. The intro of the MV was a TikTok that her son posted when he said that he didn’t like Beyoncé’s new song, to which Mama Lulu answered, “Get out of here before I break your soul.” It now has over five million views and counting. In case you’re new here, do NOT mess with the BeyHive or you will get stung.

Of course, Mama Lulu was over the moon when she watched Break My Soul’s lyric video. Snuggled up in a Beyoncé blanket, she gave the world a cheeky speech. “I would like to thank Beyoncé, her mother Tina for having her, and my family,” then reprimands Oliver to “focus on the blanket.”
Like what the BeyHive has been asking for, we’re still waiting for the official music video to drop, including Oliver and Mama Lulu. In a tweet, he says, “We love you Beyonce and we’re so grateful, but the Hive still wants those Renaissance visuals. Let’s talk tickets and have some lumpia soon! 💛” But for now, who run the world? The newest video vixen, Mama Lulu.
