People have been waiting for another Western girl group to take over the world. UK-based girl group FLO has decided to give the people what they want.

Debuting in 2022 with their single Cardboard Box, girl group FLO, consisting of members Jorja, Stella, and Renée, was introduced to the public as women who had something to say. The beginning of their career allowed them to showcase their vocals, talent, and overall love for their craft. They clearly have studied the greats, and truly champion the genre of R&B.
With their debut album Access All Areas, the group has evolved to say more than ever before. If you slept on this album last year, we’re here to remind you that the LP is not only a banger, but has baddie energy written all over it. If you’re looking to stan a new girl group this 2025, it’s time to give FLO a consideration.
LETTING IT FLOW
The album opens with Cynthia Erivo introducing the women as a trio meant to carry the girl group baton, which honestly, slay. Referencing legendary girl groups such as Destiny’s Child and the Sugababes, they set their own standards for who they want to be.
The girls set out to give more and invite the audience to take in every part of them on the title track AAA. While sensual in context, the track evokes the same energy as they did in the opener, proving that they want listeners to stay and hear what they have to offer.
The next track and the fifth single off the album In My Bag (featuring GloRilla) reminds us that they are in their bag, singing about being successful. With how effortless their harmonies are, that is enough to prove that they are speaking their truth. The track’s upbeat production makes it a bop from start to finish and a perfect song for anyone looking to motivate themselves and to continue winning in life.
BENDING THE RULES
Access All Areas also shows the group’s “lover girl” side. The album’s third single Check (another absolute bop) is an upbeat R&B track that has the girls singing about all the best qualities their man has. The line “Is he loyal? Check. He spoil you? Check. Does he clear that? Check.” hits in all the right spots and is a future classic in the making. The fourth single off the album Bending My Rules showcases their ability to share their emotions in their music, with the girls yearning for the only one they want.
In Trustworthy (Interlude), the girls are looking to prove to their partners that they are exactly what the title says. Songs such as these allow for the girls to showcase their vulnerability and desire for romance, because a real baddie can feel her feels. Being a baddie isn’t just constantly being strong, but it is also knowing what you want (and deserve) in your relationships.
NOT JUST GIRLS
While they have their vulnerable moments, the album has moments that remind us that FLO did not come to play. IWH2BMX has the girls telling their partner that they were way too insecure to be with them, saying that they would hate to be in their position because of the fact that they are so much better off without them. Get it Till I’m Gone reminds us that they have the power to get rid of anyone who does not value them, with the girls providing an infectious hook in the chorus.
The closing track perhaps best encapsulates the goal of the album. I’m Just a Girl spins the popular saying to become something that reminds us that the group is more than what people expect them to be. This song reminds us that we are also multifaceted, and that we deserve to see ourselves win in every aspect of life, and is a perfect way to wrap up the album.
BETTER BE READY FOR IT
Access All Areas proves to have all the right songs for every occasion. These tracks “check” all the right boxes, proving that there is a song for any kind of playlist. Focusing on allowing listeners to grasp all parts of their personality, wants, and goals, this release cements itself as a fine girl group debut for years to come.
With songs that are danceable, motivational, and relatable, Access All Areas proves itself to be a go-to album and OST for the baddies ready to take on life.
