The 4th installment of our Big Bold Brave Awards saw some of the most passionate voting the team has seen since the campaign’s inception. And when you see the list of nominees, it’s not hard to understand why. Championing the biggest, boldest, and bravest personalities that Generation Now has to offer has always been about inspiring people to take action and be better versions of themselves. Whether it was how much noise was made, how novel, or how pointedly truthful, the people, projects, and movements that capture our imagination also capture a part of our history and culture.
This year, our awards focused on those who owned the spaces in their chosen fields and took things up a notch. Blythe’s response gives courage to girls who are ready to take their love lives into their own hands, and invites us all to really think about the different ways we may be boxing ourselves and our options in life because of archaic social structures.

Her approach to food invites you to do away with value judgements by simply enjoying the experience of eating. Her catchphrases “you deserve to eat” and “add don’t restrict” hit different, and in the best way possible.

Richard Juan is no stranger to the spotlight, having been a character on iconic shows such as Eat Bulaga and Pinoy Big Brother. But he has made his own path in the industry, as co-founder of the digital production company 28 Squared Studios and managing director of Two Infinity Entertainment. One of his largest projects to date is the crossborder, multinational film Under Parallel Skies, starring Janella Salvador and Win Metawin and directed by Director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo. As the movie’s executive producer, Juan provides an international stage to a culturally diverse experience, which is a direction that the film industry should gladly take.
