The highly-anticipated performance of Team Philippines at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games culminated in the nation’s most successful run at the sports event, and it’s all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our athletes. From Carlos Yulo’s back-to-back gold medal wins to golfer Bianca Pagdanganan’s pleasantly surprising finish, Nesthy Petecio’s second bronze medal to EJ Obiena’s pride-inducing performance and grace after defeat, these 22 athletes showed strength in more ways than one.
Regardless of where they end up in the ranks, each Olympian’s performance had something special, and simply competing at such a huge event is gag-worthy.
