This month, let the NYLON Manila team help you decide what eats to try next, as we’ve compiled a list of our favorite foods and restos for March 2024:

French Kiss by Odd Café

“I must confess that I’m not a coffee person but when i discovered Odd Café’s French Kiss I immediately fell in love with this drink! It is an espresso, vanilla, and cinnamon concoction that can be served cold and hot but I always prefer when served cold in terms of coffee.” – Kurt Abonal, Fashion Assistant

“As a fan of anything ‘birthday cake’ flavored, this ice-blended drink really hits the spot. It’s like drinking a honey-glazed donut.” – Maggie Batacan, EIC

BLK 513

“As someone who has a love-hate relationship with frozen yogurt, BLK 513 is one of my favorite places to get dessert. The yogurt is a nice mix between sweet and sour and they have a variety of toppings to choose from. A personal favorite of mine is the Dark Side Cup.” – Raf Bautista, Managing Editor

Unsweetened Medjool Dates

“Apart from their long list of nutritional benefits, dates make for a perfect non-messy snack while working. With no peeling or prepping required, they’re my go-to snack both at home and on the go, particularly when I need a reliable source of glucose.” – Andre Chang, Fashion and Creative Director

The Chimney Cone

@lexychiu Cutest ice cream in Paranaque!🍦 📍@the_chimney_cone in Ayala Malls Manila Bay 3rd floor The cone is baked with perfection! I love the bread and the ice cream itself cause It may look too sweet but don’t be fooled, it has a balance flavor of sweetness. My fave would the Very berry! Strawberry syrup topped with blueberries and coated with berries candies (again not sweet!). Second to my liking is the S’mores with two biscoff cookies and torched mallows on top. My least favorite from everything we ordered was the matcha😢 was really looking forward to tasting this one but it lacks that matcha taste. Hope they can improve the matcha. Love that you can custom your ice cream from the cone to the ice cream to the toppings with ingredients mostly sourced from France! #chimneycone #icecream #softserve #desserts #smores #sundae #foodporn #biscoff #smores #matcha #matchaicecream #strawberry #saltedcaramel @The Chimney Cone PH ♬ Mori no chiisana restaurant – 手嶌 葵

“It’s a new dessert place in Parañaque! Their cone pastries are always freshly baked and mixed with different flavors of ice cream and toppings ❤️ Plus it looks aesthetic!” – Jasmin Dasigan, Editorial Assistant

Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza

“I recently had the salad and prosciutto pizza at Gino’s and I was delightedly satisfied! I particularly found the spicy honey dressing to be unique and delicious paired with the pizza. And the price point is fair for two people. I would definitely come back for more.” – Elyse Ilagan, Jr. Brand Manager

Daily by Bo’s Coffee

“For college students like myself who are on the verge of becoming broke but still want to get that caffeine fix with a snack, the choices at Daily by Bo’s Coffee make an excellent option.” – James Jacinto, Art Contributor

Bucky’s Brownies

“As a brownie lover, I’ve gone through several different brands in Metro Manila, but nothing has hit as well as Bucky’s Brownies. The original has just the perfect amount of sweet that doesn’t hurt your throat. The Buckies and Cream, while on the sweeter side, is also a must-try, especially if you like Oreos. It’s like an Oreo version of a brownie.

Bucky’s Brownies is also not stingy when it comes to size, so you can either split it in half to share or save for yourself 😁” – Bianca Lao, Account Manager

Oddchata by Odd Café

Oddchata from Odd Café. Not only the is interior of their store visually-appealing, it’s Gen Z approved. Their drink specifically their Horchata is a refreshing beverage. The combination of cinnamon with the rice milk and oats is spot on.” – Gelo Quijencio, Multimedia Artist

Ramen Yushoken

“My ultimate comfort food! The noodles are cooked perfectly and broth is the most flavorful. Paired with a side of gyoza, I always crave ramen whenever I’m feeling under the weather, and I can always count on Yushoken to pick me up.” – Sophia Samala, Ad & Promo Manager

Green Goddess Pesto by Dean & Deluca

“This pesto-heaven in a plate is the most perfect weekend treat I got this March. Accompanied by the restaurant’s soothing ambiance, the dinner night couldn’t have been better.” – Diane Sarmiento, Editorial Intern

Southbank Café + Lounge

“As a self-proclaimed gyudon enthusiast, my current fave is from Southbank Café + Lounge. Just the thought of their brekky gyudon makes my mouth water. The combination of tender beef, sous vide egg, and crispy onion strings is like a flavor explosion in every bite. TBH, I’d happily enjoy it any time of day! And to wash it all down, their matcha latte is the perfect choice—it always hits the spot for me.” – Shane Sy, Social Media Associate

22 Grams MNL

“I first tried 22 Grams Manila at an event, and let me tell you, I’ve been frequenting that café ever since. While everything I’ve tried so far has been good, what I loved most was their Tom Yum Chicken and Bonbons.” – Precy Tan, Beauty Writer
