While the pressure of being a Miss Universe delegate is enough to overwhelm most people, Michelle and her fellow queens aren’t letting the competition get in the way of their sisterhood. From slaying in coordinated black with Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia Porsild to hanging out with her chicas Miss Universe Nicaragua Shyennis Palacios and Miss Universe Mexico Melissa Flores, and more, the queens still find the time to get close, as it should be.

From the beach to the ballroom, Michelle made sure that you wouldn’t catch her missing with every look she prepared for Miss Universe. With the help of her stylist Ryuji Shiomitsu and her creative team, Michelle gave us multiple looks per day of diverse styles and silhouettes that complimented her so well. And her chic bob stayed bobing throughout her activities. The best part? All her ‘fits are from Filipino designers as she champions local talent. She really turned Miss Universe into Fashion Week.

To many, the Preliminaries serve as the make-or-break moment whether you’re a strong contender at the Finals. If that’s the case, consider Michelle Dee one of our top picks. The actress and beauty queen ate, slayed, and tore her way through the Preliminary round. She stunned in her green cut-out gown from Mark Bumgarner, which served as a touching tribute to her mother, and lit the stage on fire with her powerful swimsuit walk. That’s mother if you ask us.

Aside from the physical aspect of the competition, Miss Universe also serves as a platform for the queens to share their advocacies and other social causes with the world. It’s an aspect that Michelle keeps close to her heart with her main advocacy, autism awareness. During her stay in El Salvador, Michelle also worked with other charities, such as Smile Train. Oh, and she made it to the semifinals as part of the Top 10 for Miss Universe Voice for Change, the competition’s award for inspiring stories and powerful advocacy.
