Now that we can officially start our engines at long last, the premiere night of Drag Race Philippines was one of the most-awaited events for most. Not only were the guests treated to an exclusive look of the first episode of the season, the queens also gave us quite the show and all its spiciness on the runway. Definitely a taste of what’s to come. Can we get an eme up in here?

PAOLO BALLESTEROS
Of course, on top of the list is the host, the legend, the cultural reset: Paolo Ballesteros. The queen mother kept everything sleek and classic, wearing a shiny asymmetrical gown by Mara Chua punctuated with a red lip.
JIGGLY CALIENTE
Drag Race alumni and judge Jiggly Caliente got all emotional last night at the premiere as she congratulated all the queens in the show. Her beat was perfect, which matched the black sequinned gown with feathered sleeves she dazzled in.
KALADKAREN
“Category is: pulang langgam,” Kaladkaren captions in her Instagram post. She wore a red wig, a corseted latex dress by Mara Chua, and sky high stilettos for an even more commanding presence.
BJ PASCUAL
Wearing a Ludovic de Saint Sernin tank top (unbuttoned, of course), guest judge and photographer BJ Pascual kept it sleek and sensual.
MINTY FRESH
Wearing an asymmetrical heavily-beaded gown by Roman Sebastian and hair let down like a real-life Rapunzel, Minty Fresh looked like an alien superstar, especially with the star dangling on her forehead. And that stare searing straight for the soul? Powerful.
MARINA SUMMERS
Did anyone call for the summer? Wearing her halo and a terno with fringes swinging with every movement, it’s as if the goddess that is Marina Summers descended from the heavens at the premiere.
PRECIOUS PAULA NICOLE
The Filipino folk song Sitsiritsit was the main inspo behind Precious Paula Nicole’s metallic, iridescent terno designed by Ehrran Montoya. She even had the salagubang’s antennae and oversized bug specs on the runway, too!
TURING
She really said, KNOT TODAY! Turing didn’t come to play at the Drag Race premiere party, showing up in a colorful braided look.
BRIGIDING
Setting the stage on fire, we were all a witness to Brigiding’s rebirth on stage. Her look at the premiere night was fiery yet frilly, created by Kalvin Barrios, showing just the right amount of sass and softness.
VIÑAS DELUXE
Who would’ve thought we’d be blessed last night by this immaculate look on Vinas Deluxe? Hail Mary, full of grace. The gown was fully beaded, had a dramatic trail, and golden headpiece by Airah Cleng Kawazaki del Rosario.
PRINCE MARELL
In true Prince fashion, the purple rain is upon us when this drag queen showed up on stage. Wearing a structured gown by Ehrran Montoya and big orange hair, we’re ready to see what she’s about to bring to the table.
EVA LE QUEEN
The golden girl is here and she’s not going anywhere. Eva Le Queen wore a gold opulent gown with exaggerated sleeves and her fashioned into a beehive.
LADY MORGANA
Representing her roots, Lady Morgana took it to the next level with her native outfit from Davao City. Don’t you just adore drag queens who aren’t afraid to let people know where they came from?
GIGI ERA
Big, bold, and beautiful, Gigi Era was quite the fun in her purple terno and blonde updo. The embellished butterfly sleeves were to die for.
XILHOUETE
The Black Swan is finally here. Xilhouete in her terno with sharp as hell butterfly sleeves and latex gloves were enough to pierce through the crowd.
CORAZON FILIPINAS
A true Manileña, Corazon Filipinas wore a baro’t saya in blush and peachy tones by Ed Gendrix Resos, finished off with sparkliest rhinestones.
